I REALLY liked the guy who sold us our truck but the people who are higher above him REALLY screwed us on our truck. 100%. We are heated when we come home because there’s dents all over the truck and we should have gotten 10,000 off for all the dents it has from hail. We are frustrated for sure that we “had” to buy the $2,000 package that covered dent repair and all other repair of some sort but it’s only for a year. $2,000 for a year is absolutely ridiculous. Everyone who we told the story to says we were screwed hard. So we don’t appreciate that at all. More

Autotrader notified me of this truck listed as a “great price” so I responded to the dealer. Kobe replied quickly and we set an appointment. I made it very clear to him that this was the only vehicle I was price” so I responded to the dealer. Kobe replied quickly and we set an appointment. I made it very clear to him that this was the only vehicle I was interested in and that I was ready to buy. Kobe confirmed that the truck was available before I left Tyler and then provided directions to avoid DFW rush hour traffic. I arrived and after the test drive we began the process. I made the purchase and was on my way home in approximately 2 hours. Financing was easy and the interest rate was good. I am a Dave Ramsey pupil so for me the price is most important factor. The only negative comments I have are: the cost of nitrogen filled tires with no option to refuse and the fee for using my own lender (not sure this is legal). These are obviously add on profit centers for the dealer. So if I ever bought from Shottenkirk again I would manage the transaction to avoid these cost like I did by using their local lender. These practices give me grief and anger. However, I would by a vehicle from Kobe again and that is the ultimate compliment for any car salesmen in my opinion. Thanks Kobe! Tire pressure warning light was back on 6 days after $600 in repairs. The warning light was on after I paid for the repair. I informed them, they took an additional 3 hours to repair again, but clearly stil in repairs. The warning light was on after I paid for the repair.
