Had an appointment for a simple LOF and check air in tires. No filter check needed I let them know. Since I had to wait I made sure with the advisor that an early appointment had staff there to do it. G tires. No filter check needed I let them know. The lady I made the appointment with was not there at check-in and left before check-out. 1st thing was told that not everyone was in yet. Took an hour and 15 minutes for an oil change. 1st time ever I had a LOF without getting the window washer fluid filled. Just seems like a long time for a LOF for being the 1st appointment of the day. Will try them again when the next LOF is due and see if this was just a one-time slow service and a one-time omission on the washer fluid. More

Received an email reminder for my 4Runner 25k complimentary service. My vehicle was at 23k so I scheduled service online. I was greeted promptly in the service area. Decided to walk around the lot and look at Rav4's for my wife. 30 minutes later I was called by the service rep and he told me to come back up. He told me that my vehicle was not eligible for service. I went ahead and forwarded him the email I had just received last week. After reviewing he said I had exceeded the 2 year duration and my service would be over $100. My issues with this situation are: 1. Why even send me the email at all with COMLIMENTARY in capital bold red letters. Your systems are perfectly aware of the purchase date of my vehicle and already know I would have been over the date when the email was sent. So you basically set me up for failure and an attitude when I get there. Probably hoping I would go ahead and pay for the service anyway. 2. I did not feel like the service rep was understanding to the situation. He did not try to come up with any reasonable solutions. Maybe try and offer a coupon or discount of some kind. At least something since I was falsely lured in with the COMPLIMENTARY email claim. Best he could say was "well I can still rotate your tires". I asked how much and he said $20. Well Discount Tires does that for free. Now that's customer service. 3. Why did it even take 30 minutes to make me aware? I should have been notified immediately when checking in. More
