I brought the car in for the 10,000 miles or 12 months maintenance, which according to the ToyotaCare brochure as well as the Warranty & Maintenance Guide, includes “Rotate tires”. Tires were not rotated.The multi-point Inspection report indicated tire Tread Depth of 12+/32, I measure about 8/32; Tire pressures were reported as 36 psi, (both as found and as left) the car’s tire pressure monitors indicated 38 psi, my digital gauge indicated 39 psi. (I can not attest to the accuracy of my gauge, though that seems a significant difference.) Break linings were reported as 8mm, seems strange that mechanics would remove the wheels to check the break linings and not rotate the tires when tire rotation is part of the scheduled maintenance. During the visit I talked with 2 service representatives, both were courteous and professional. More

It was our first scheduled routine maintenance for our new Tacoma. We scheduled on line. We thought it was to change the oil, but it was only to rotate the tires.
