My battery was dead on two occasions and my warranty expired about 6 weeks prior. The Service Mgr. told me he would work with me and said he would get Ram to comp the diagnosis and possibly the repair. expired about 6 weeks prior. When the vehicle was ready to be picked up, he told me it was going to cost north of $350 for a new battery and he would cover the diagnosis. I felt this was excessive so I was not going to have them put a new battery in. When I told him this he said he would have to charge me north of $150 for diagnosis then. I got rather angry as it was obvious I was being taken advantage of. He then lowered the price to around $260 with battery and offered me a free service (oil change and tire rotation) to help cover things. I believe if I hadn't spoken up, I would have gotten hosed.
