I was met at the door by Ralph and from that point on, I felt comfortable in interacting with him. I told him that I definately was in the market for a truck, but as this point I was going to shop 3 dealers and go with the best deal. I had a 1997 ford f-150 with 207,000 miles on it and I knew that I was not going to get much via the trade route. Once my trade was assessed, I managed to wiggle a few more hundred and a set of mud flaps to close the deal. I never did go to the other 2 Ford dealers and I know in the internet world of today, there are very little unknowns in pricing. I know there is dealer holdback involved which the consumer has no bargining power. This is the second vehicle that I have purchased from Bud Smail in the past 3 years and when I am ready to buy again, that will be the first place I shop.
