Although the entire crew over at the pre owned center seemed to be wonderful, a special thanks goes out to Troy and Craig. He was not your typical salesman that you find at many dealers, but instead was very genuine, down to earth and more than willing to help us out. I have been in and out of dealerships for months and never quite found anybody who made me feel as comfortable as he did. He will be my go to guy for all of my future car buys and working with him was an absolute pleasure. Craig over in the financial dept. was wonderful as well..he worked with us for hours and went out of his way to pull off what I'm sure others would not have been able to. He was very thorough and worked wonders. Troy and Craig are the reason I was able to take my dream car home yesterday and I cannot thank them both enough. I know who I will be referring all of my friends and family to, these guys are awesome! Thank you so much!!! More

Troy has been an excellent salesperson, helpful, and honest. He did not pressure me into making a purchase- he simply showed me a car that had the options I was interested in. He gave me the space to be able to talk to my husband privately about the vehicle. He did his best to rate my trade in and get me the best possible price for it. And, although I found a few minor problems with the vehicle, he was on top of it and had them fixed immediately. When we asked for a book for the car (there was none in the vehicle) he went about on the task of locating one. I am more than satisfied with him and I would definitely recommend him to another person looking to buy a car. I had visited 3 other dealerships within the last year and did not buy from them, for various reasons. I had e-mailed this dealership prior to visiting, as I was tired of visiting dealers and not finding what I wanted- the experience was exhausting. However, after sending an e-mail listing the options I was looking for, Troy waited until he found just the right car and gave me a call. The rest of the crew at Smith haven were friendly and very upbeat also! the gentlemen who handled the financing, was awesome too! He got me a better rate and a better program (warranty) then I had thought possible. Thank you Smith Haven for selling me my dream car! More

It took around 4 hours to purchase the truck. I had filled out the finance paperwork a few days before and have really good credit but that didn't save a second. The vehicle wasn't inspected properly and had a huge dent from side to side across the front of the roof and the molding over the front passenger tire is lifting. My husband found the dent on the roof when he was rewashing the truck after the wash job the dealership did. I called the dealership and was told that they would look at it, but that I had already had the truck for a few days so they didn’t know if I did something to the truck. I was furious. Back to purchase day. We were getting ready to drive off the lot to realize the truck that went through “a list of checks” wasn’t even gassed up (was there radiator fluid or brake fluid?). The dealership charges $69 to gas the vehicle and if I didn’t catch it while signing the paperwork, they were going to charge me twice for gas (that's the same gas I didn’t have in the truck). We lost all confidence in Smith Haven Chrysler Dodge, etc... so we took the truck to our local Dodge dealership and paid to have them check the vehicle so we can feel safe driving it. I hope nothing else goes wrong as the Smith Haven dealership will not stand behind their vehicles. More
the sales people are real nice not pushy and quit egger to please and make a deal the service people know thier stuff when they say that your car will be done it is. If you are thinking of shopping at Smith Haven Jeep, I strongly urge you to think twice. Two weeks ago, I looked at a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the intent to trade in my current Grand Cherokee. The strongly urge you to think twice. Two weeks ago, I looked at a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the intent to trade in my current Grand Cherokee. The salesman offered me a price that was lower than another offer I had. I asked him to meet the offer and he was not able to. This week, he called me to follow up and told me that he was willing to meet my request. We made plans to reconnect tonight. When I phoned him, he told me that the car we had agreed upon had a part missing because they needed it for a car that was in for service. The part was on order and would be ready in a few days. You heard that right; they took a part out of a new car on the lot and used it on a car brought in for service. What's more, they told me that this is routine practice! Perhaps foolishly, I went in to the dealer anyway. I waited for the salesman while he finished working with another customer. After about 45 minutes of waiting he asked me to turn over my keys so the car could be "appraised" again. I thought this was strange but complied. Soon after, Charles Elenterio, came over and introduced himself as the sales manager and then walked away. Again, strange. A few minutes later Charles Elenterio came back and told me that he wanted to go over the deal with me. I explained that I had been working with another salesperson and asked if he would be taking over. He said he would not. I asked to wait until the salesperson was finished. He told me that he would be offering me $2500 less than our agreed upon price for my trade. When I told him that it was not the deal that I had agreed upon with the salesperson and I wanted to wait to speak with him, Charles Elenterio told me that I should "have a good night" and that he "didn't need to do business" with me. So before you do business with Smith Haven, remember the car parts you get might not be the ones installed in the factory and they "don't need to do business" with you. More

We ran out of day light so, he pulled jeep in to garage so we can make a decision on a color. Which I absolutely love !!!! overall experience was excellent and Rich was a big part of that .
