I have a brand new 2025 VW Tiguan, purchased December 1, 2025. I have had various issues with the vehicle from day 1- one of which, a failed sensor, which the dealer did address. Another was an improper ali 2025. I have had various issues with the vehicle from day 1- one of which, a failed sensor, which the dealer did address. Another was an improper alignment at delivery, also addressed. I have been having issues with the onboard connectivity unit (OCU) - and have been complaining of inaccurate GPS location, inability to use remote features via the MyVW app, and now have no connection or ability to use SOS functions, which is a safety concern. I have had the vehicle at this dealer twice for the same issue, and was told the first time that “it could not be reproduced” - which is not true, as the issues were shown to them in person. The second visit, April 20th, I was informed that I would need to wait for Volkswagen to come out with a fix, and notify me and others who have this issue. It is my opinion as a consumer that this dealership should have owned the fact that I was sold a defective product and replaced the faulty module, rather than pushing it off until Volkswagen “releases a fix”. I now have an airbag light on since picking the vehicle up- and will not be returning to this dealership for any reason going forward. My wife and I both leased vehicles on the same day, and I find it absurd that there has been absolutely no urgency in addressing my concerns. I live 5 minutes from the dealership, but will be driving to Huntington in order to receive proper service. On a positive note, I would like to compliment Jasmine Khan, service advisor, for her professionalism and kindness throughout this process. She, honestly, was the only reason I have not complained to this point. She maintained great communication throughout the services and apologized for the inconvenience this has caused myself and my family. She is a wonderful asset to an otherwise very disappointing dealership. More
