The overall sales experience is okay, except the markup on top of the vehicle price which is outrageous, but the service area is definitely a joke. We purchased a new 2023 car last year with already three on top of the vehicle price which is outrageous, but the service area is definitely a joke. We purchased a new 2023 car last year with already three recalls on it. I received notification from Kia about these recalls campaigns via snail mail. Booked an appointment for the first service and first recall (a software patch), the advisor said that they didn't have the software upgrade for my model yet, and they will contact me back. I waited and contacted them a few weeks after since no one reached out to me, then they changed tunes and said my car didn't need the software upgrade although I could verify that the vin was clearly listed on the website as one of the cars marked for it. I filled out the manager's survey about the Service and voiced my concerns about the situation with the recall, no one contacted me back. I let it go for a few more months since I had the second service coming up, and another two other recalls showed at my mailbox. The second one was for the tow hitch, which I knew was not applicable to me, since I don't have it, but the third one was a second row seats rail reinforcement with steel plates that was fully applicable. Went back to the dealership for the 2nd service and same story, serviced the car and advisor Guillermo said they didn't have the needed parts for the third recall, that they will order it and contact me back. A couple of weeks after I had to call them back of course, and the advisor lady on the phone again said my car didn't need that work, same pattern all over again. Needless to say that I hung up and called Kia contact center directly, who indeed confirmed that my car is listed for all those recalls, the first one should be available since long time ago, and the third one they informed me that Kia still doesn't have a solid solution for it and they are still working on it. When I told my story with the dealership the only solution they could give me was to find another Kia dealership and make a recall appointment with them for the software upgrade, they basically said that these are independently owned dealerships and they can't make sure what kind of service they provide to customers. What a big ball of xx, that itself sucked and speaks very badly of the whole manufacturer/dealership combo. I have booked an appointment at another dealership and crossing fingers they will be better than this one, but I'm not holding my breath on it. I have purchased cars before at a couple other places, never had issues with service before, my seven year old Subaru still gets serviced at the original dealership and they are flawless. Stay away if you can from South Dade Kia, not worth the trouble trust me. More
Henry was very helpful but the team had never heard of replacing the halogen lights in my car. This was my second time there for the replacement. Henry was the only advisor to follow up, read the letter replacing the halogen lights in my car. This was my second time there for the replacement. Henry was the only advisor to follow up, read the letter and move forward with my repair. Kia sent a letter to me but your system still required me to wait for over an hour for their authorization for the repair which I had a letter for. It seems like the larger company should make this easier for its service centers. Henry did the best he could navigating the red tape of the company. More

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at South Dade Kia, and I feel compelled to share my negative feedback. I purchased a brand new Kia K5 GT Line 2021 from them, and it has been nothing but a he Dade Kia, and I feel compelled to share my negative feedback. I purchased a brand new Kia K5 GT Line 2021 from them, and it has been nothing but a headache from the start. First and foremost, I have never received a single call from South Dade Kia for a service appointment. It's bewildering that a dealership would fail to reach out to a customer who purchased a new car from them. This lack of communication raises serious concerns about their commitment to customer service and safety. To make matters worse, I recently discovered that my Kia K5 GT Line 2021 is subject to a recall related to the seatbelt. I learned about this recall through internet, not from the dealership. It's beyond comprehension that South Dade Kia did not notify me about a safety issue with my vehicle. This negligence on their part is inexcusable and puts their customers at risk. Kia K5 GTline has an issue with oil change lights, it will not show up on the dashboard, just advising potential buyers. Also, they would do anything to not cover any repair. They only care about money. This is so bad experience that I am taking legal action against this dealer and I am requesting all of my comunication transcripts with them and they are offering excuses that this records may take several weeks. I expected better from a reputable dealership, especially when it comes to the safety and well-being of their customers. South Dade Kia's failure to communicate, provide adequate service, and address a critical recall issue has left me deeply unsatisfied and concerned about the quality of their customer care. I strongly urge potential buyers to think twice before considering South Dade Kia for their automotive needs. This dealer and Kia is full of disclaimers, read very carefully the small font before making a decision. 10 years warranty is full of nonsense and they will look for any excuse just to not grant it. DO NOT CHOOSE KIA OR SOUTH DADE KIA. More
