Unscrupulous Men Work at South Point Hyundai I am in my late 40s, and this is my first online review of a business….which is indicative of how strongly I feel about my horrible experience at Sout I am in my late 40s, and this is my first online review of a business….which is indicative of how strongly I feel about my horrible experience at South Point Hyundai and of warning others. Ron Scott, Michael Palmer, Jared Castille, and Tom Cruz were involved. Michael crossed a line and said something inappropriate, which I tried to put out of my mind but bothered me throughout my visit. At one point, I did ask to speak with the head manager so I could provide feedback. Jared said he (Jim) wasn’t there but agreed to have this manager call me (this was to occur regardless of if I made a purchase or not). Jared seemed to be a gem and offered to take over the sale, and I agreed….but then he left me...and Ron came back in to do the paperwork. Ron misled me about a financial perk. I had been all set to buy but realized these guys absolutely cannot be trusted. Admittedly, I walked out in quite a huff. One week later, and no call from General Sales Manager Jim Hayth. However, on that date I got a call from Tom (one of the managers who was present when I walked out in a huff). Tom wanted to know what he could do to still get my business. He said I would be working only with him. I told him that I wanted the same deal I was offered one week ago with $500 deducted from the price...not as an extra discount but as the incentive I was led to believe I would be qualified to receive. He said he did not have my paperwork with him and would have to call me back (funny he had my number to call me but not the actual paperwork). Although he was supposed to call me either way that same evening (and leave me a vm since I was going out), he did not call back….and has not ever done so (it has been over a week since his initial call, over 2 weeks since my horrible visit). I chose a career focused on helping others. I have no tolerance for people who employee unscrupulous tactics to take advantage of others and make a buck. I literally don’t know how these men rationalize their behaviors. Does South Point Hyundai employ any good, ethical human beings?!?! More

Great! Car buying as it should be. Jason Rinaldi and the internet team were straightforward and followed through on everything we had agreed upon before I went to the dealership. Rude and Unprofessional I expect a certain behavior from car salespeople after politely telling them I'm not immediately buying one of their vehicles, but the manner in which I expect a certain behavior from car salespeople after politely telling them I'm not immediately buying one of their vehicles, but the manner in which I was treated by Shaun was unacceptable and unprofessional. Kept me waiting a long time, didn't bother to leave a business card even though I said I might return, and then made rude comments as I walked out. But that's okay...he just lost out on a deal so I guess it's his loss. Certainly South Point Hyundai won't be getting my or any of my friends' business now. More

I scheduled to test drive an SUV that was in my price range. Next day as I was driving to Austin to look and test drive SUV I received a call from Shawn who handles online sales at South Point and stated he would have SUV ready for me to test drive. Friendly staff and overall excellent experience. I love my Hyundai SUV. I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you Shawn and Hyundai More
