South Point Hyundai and Howard Sellars-A great combination I had originally gone to 3 dealerships looking for a new car. For me, the car isn't AS important to me as the customer service. You can always get the car you want from somewhere. But when I went here, I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone there was courteous and attentive and I never once had to open a door myself. I'm not from this area and being treated like I was there was new and made a big impact. Howard was so patient with me. I came back 3 times before I finally purchased an Elantra there. He drove me all over the inventory so I could look and see what colors were available so we could start there. He was so knowledgeable about all of these different cars, the models, features, that he could tell which ones fit what I was looking for just by driving by them and identifying them by the headlights, wheels, etc. What?? When I had picked one (or more) out, he would drive it (them) to the front and we would go into more detail there. I had asked him more than once if he would bring 2 different cars up to the front so that I could have a side-by-side comparison. He did this for me several times and not once did I get the feeling that he was upset or that he had something else to do other than to be there to help me get all of the information I needed so I could make the best decision. (And ... he didn't waste my time there by looking at his cell phone, taking calls, texting ... I personally have walked out of other dealerships just for that reason.) I also never felt I was being pressured by Howard into buying something that may be more expensive just to get a sale. He did let me know of other options I might be interested in and showed them to me and explained the differences. THAT to me was a great salesmanship. When I went back for the last time to buy my car, it had been sold. That is a good thing for the dealership and not unexpected for me. As I said, I went there 3 times before I was ready to buy and people are pouncing on these Hyundais so they are going fast!!! Do you want to know what they did for me? I found an Elantra Sport that was previously way out of my price range, and Jamie Holloway did some incredible magic to bring the price down, gave me an unbelievable trade in for my 2002 car, and threw in a lot of extras that weren't originally in the package. I don't know how many other dealerships would have even considered doing that. I'm in love with my new car and I'm a HUGE fan of South Point Hyundai, Jamie, and especially Howard. I personally like how Ilya is not constantly upselling me but actually explaining what is in particular packages on my car and if they are going to benefit me. I feel the way Ilya explained the pricing and packages helped me make a better decision on which package I chose for my Genesis Coupe R-Spec. His help and guidance allowed me to get the most car for the best price. I also enjoyed how the dealership treated me in financing. I was given my exact credit information and was presented with numerous options that I could proceed with. I was never pressured or told what to buy at South Point unlike all the other dealerships I have dealt with in the past. Jordan and Jamie were both extremely patient while I decided whether or not to purchase my new Accent. These guys keep calling me asking to sell my "old" (a few years old) car and buy one of their new cars. I looked into it once and the offer was insulting and a total waste of time. Since then for about a year I have been getting calls/text/emails every month or so asking if I want to sell my car and buy a new one and every time I tell them no and to tell them to take me off their solicitation list and never call me again- but like clock work they try again month. This is completely unacceptable. To add insult to injury the car we bought has had issues. Brand new when we bought it and about a year later the transmission starts breaking down and it takes forever for them to admit and replace it even though its under warrantee. More
