I inquired when my vehicle could be looked at and it was communicated almost two weeks later. It was asked if I wanted to keep my car there for service and yes I did because I wasn't going to tow it around town. My car was seen earlier than anticipated but when I dropped off my car it did create unnecessary stress as a customer. Also I called twice to gain clarification on service text messages/etc., and asked for a call back. I did not receive a call back but did receive communication via text. I'm usually okay with text but it would of been nice to receive a call due to the nature of the situation. I was under the impression that I was going to be without a vehicle for a minimum two weeks. They provided terrible customer service. My vehicle was towed to the service department on 24 Dec and they held my vehicle 30 days with no work done after initial diagnostic until day 29. I My vehicle was towed to the service department on 24 Dec and they held my vehicle 30 days with no work done after initial diagnostic until day 29. I was told the jeep didn't start due to a failed fuel pump on 30Dec. My warranty company authorized repairs the same day. I was given two contact numbers to call and/or text for updates. They never answered the phone and text message went unanswered with the exception of two. I only received an update when I physically went to the sevice department and each time there was no progress. In addition to the fuel pump, I was told the mechanic heard knocking under the hood but another diagnostic would be required. I also requested a tune up based upon the milage and state inspection. On 21 Jan I went to the shop and expressed my frustration with their service to the manager. I told him that I was told the fuel pump was in and asked why hasn't it been installed. The manager justified the lengthy delay by telling me parts take a long time to be received and they've had vehicles there for over a year that hadnt been serviced. Then stated the mechanic would commence work in the morning of 22 Dec. However, due to the length of time my vehicle was at the shop without service, my husband called (finally talked with someone on the phone) and requested to only complete the fuel pump changed out. I requested the same via text the two numbers provided. The morning of 22Dec I called and spoke with lady handling my file to confirm only the fuel pump was being done and she stated the mechanic had already completed the tune up the night before and will be installing the fuel pump next. I expressed my concern of a proper tune up being completed when the vehicle was not operational/able to start. This was sketchy and alarming. Made me question if my fuel pump was bad. I picked my vehicle up on 23Jan and still there is no knocking under the hood. I was hoping to have a good relationship with SCDJR Chesapeake, but I will never take my vehicle back there nor recommend them to anyone. More

State inspection/oil change work on my vehicle began Friday 1/17. I received a call from the service team (Mike) with some issues with the state inspection. I was made aware that I had a faint window ti Friday 1/17. I received a call from the service team (Mike) with some issues with the state inspection. I was made aware that I had a faint window tint on the windshield. I was unaware of this, as this is the same vehicle that was passed by the same service department a year prior. No additional work has been done to the vehicle. Due to this finding, the vehicle would fail inspection. I then brought up that it was in the same condition as I brought it in the year previously, but since its an issue now to 'Reject/Fail' the state inspection. This was acknowledge and the call ended. Five minutes later, I received a call back from Southern CDJR stating that the service team proceeded to cut/remove a portion of my tint, and pass my vehicle inspection. I questioned who authorized them to cut/remove the tint? Mike stated they had to in order to pass the inspection. I reiterated that it was clearly stated to reject the inspection and that no authorization was provided to cut/remove any tint. My property was not returned to me the way I dropped it off, but instead altered/damaged. I requested photos of what had been done via phone and text communication with Mike. These photos were never sent. I arrived to receive my truck and speak to the service manager (David Rose) on Tuesday 1/21. I proceeded to state the above concerns and question who 'authorized' the removal of the tint on my vehicle. He informed me that this was illegal and that I had the choice to accept that, but the service team took it upon themselves to remove it to pass inspection. I then reminded him that I asked the service team to reject the inspection. The service manager then proceeds to have a rejection sticker reinstalled on my vehicle. I asked if he would compensate me for the damages or cover any fees but was promptly told no. My choices were to leave with damaged tint and approved inspection or leave with damaged tint and rejected tint. Neither were acceptable. There is no way I should bring my personal property to a company for service, and not receive it back in the same condition/if not better. I need to know what can be done regarding this. To be sent away without taking any responsibility of the damages is a slap in the face. More
