I was very disappointed when I called to make an appointment for service this past week. Was unable to speak directly with someone. I was initially told by the automatic system that I did not have appointment for service this past week. Was unable to speak directly with someone. It already had been in the service department less than five days of purchasing vehicle. I received the following via text and no other follow-up after calling the service department . “ Thank you for submitting your request with Southern Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat Newport News. We have received your request for service for your 2025 Dodge Charger on 2025-08-13 at 3:00 PM at our dealership, located at 12629 Jefferson Ave Newport News, VA 23602. Please note: your appointment won't be reserved until the service department confirms availability. Our team will contact you during business hours to confirm the details and schedule your appointment.” So I just showed up, spoke with the sales department and it was taken care of. I would like to know how to handle your service department in the future as this was very frustrating. More
