My father and I purchased a vehicle from Spartanburg Toyota in April 2025. We were very clear at the time of purchase that although our address may populate as Pulaski County, we legally reside in Houston County, Georgia and register all vehicles there. Knowing this would likely confuse things, we specifically signed the paperwork for Houston County to make it absolutely clear. Despite this, the dealership submitted our title paperwork to Pulaski County — a critical error that they have still not corrected. We are now nearing four months with no resolution. Our title is still missing, and we are on our third temporary tag, which expires August 10. At this point, we have no guarantee we’ll be able to drive our car legally once that date passes — and we’re the ones stuck chasing down answers for their mistake. I called the salesman on May 22 for an update, and was simply told to “just give it time.” But we’ve since found out the paperwork had already been sent to the wrong county almost a month earlier, and no one ever informed us. That’s time we could have used to fix the issue if someone had actually followed up. The title clerk at Spartanburg Toyota has been incredibly difficult to work with. She has ignored multiple emails, failed to follow through on what she said she would do, and is automatically defensive any time we ask questions — even when she’s clearly in the wrong. She has been unfriendly, unhelpful, and dismissive throughout this entire process. We’re the ones who were wronged, and yet the dealership acts like they’re doing us a favor by fixing their own error — which still hasn’t been fixed. We’ve now had to escalate this with our financing company and are filing official complaints with both South Carolina and Georgia consumer protection agencies. We purchased this car in good faith, and now we’re stuck in a legal mess through no fault of our own. If you're buying from Spartanburg Toyota — especially if you're from out of state — be extremely careful. The sale might be smooth, but if something goes wrong afterward, you’ll be left on your own with no accountability, no transparency, and no urgency from their staff. More

One star is too much. They offered us a coupon for an oil change for $29.95. Without notifying us and without our consent, they added several extra fees to more than double the cost of our bill. When we asked about these fees, they refused to remove them and demanded that we pay them. I am highly dissatisfied with their deceitfulness and poor customer service. I strongly recommend that no one use their services. More
Price jumps every time you go back for service , then they charge you for tire rotation when it is supposed to be free since tires where purchased there. Chatted to make sure opened on July 4th and received response that they were. Checked google and it show opened till 7pm. Toyota has been disrespectful of our time and not to mention the gas expense and wear and tear on my car. I have always owned Toyotas but I will never go to this dealer again and now I’m considering purchasing an Audi. I am very disappointed!! More
