I took my Subaru Forester to Speedway Subaru for a mirror replacement after confirming the correct color using my VIN. They installed an off-white mirror casing instead of the correct Dark Grey Metallic—then replacement after confirming the correct color using my VIN. They installed an off-white mirror casing instead of the correct Dark Grey Metallic—then told me I'd have to pay extra to fix their mistake, even though they admitted it was their error. I followed up multiple times but received no response. Subaru of America was also unable to assist. As a final insult, a technician accidentally sent me an internal email complaining about me—rather than sending it to his manager. That tells you a lot about how seriously they take customer service. Given the dealership’s recent change in ownership, I expected better. Instead, I had to file both a BBB complaint and a chargeback just to be heard. More
