They diagnosed the problem that day and gave me a beautiful white 2017 Passat loaner car since parts had to be ordered.The repairs were completed and at a reasonable price.I was kind of sad to have to give up that beautiful Passat but I really did miss my Beetle.When I turned on the air conditioner, it was like a winter arctic blast.
