I am giving Plaza Lexus and John Holtz the highest ratings. I was seeking to purchase a 2010 or 2011 Lexus RX350 and was working with Plaza and Mungenast. In the end, I wanted to purchase the auto fro ratings. I was seeking to purchase a 2010 or 2011 Lexus RX350 and was working with Plaza and Mungenast. In the end, I wanted to purchase the auto from John because he was nice. .... He kept in touch with me letting via email, letting me know when a car came on the lot which met my specifications but was not contacting me excessively with hard sell techniques. When I came in to test drive the car I purchased, he had pulled it into a garage so we wouldn't have to stand outside and discuss the car in the cold, that was a nice touch. And of course, he offered me water or coffee while I was waiting as we negotiated. The Mungenast experience was with a sales rep that didn't follow-up to let me know when a car was on the lot, I had been monitoring their inventory so I re-contacted him. When I arrived to test drive, we stood outside in the cold to discuss the car and that was ok. After the test drive, the sales guy left me standing in the showroom for 10 minutes or so while he went to the manager to see what the price would be. Eventually he offered me a seat but altho I was in their showroom for well over an hour, I wasn't offered anything to drink. A day later, Tom Ebenreck the sales manager at Mungenast learned of the lack of courtesy and did telephone me twice to follow-up which was nice. I hope he'll perform some additional training with the sales rep I dealt with there. As a woman, purchasing a car on her own, I did feel this dealership was dismissive but I did appreciate the time the service manager took to follow-up. In the end, I could have purchased either car from either dealership. The cars were indistinguishable to me and I liked them both. As I was speaking with John at Plaza and over the telephone with Tom at Mungenast, it came down to the fact that John created a desire to buy from him because he was just so nice. I found John Holtz to be easy to work with, respectful, and considerate and all things being equal, people buy from people they like. More
I have bought two vehicles from Plaza Motors the first was an LS 430, John Holtz was my salesperson and my second purchase was a RX 350, Dick Tenge was my salesperson for this car. Both salesmen were gre was an LS 430, John Holtz was my salesperson and my second purchase was a RX 350, Dick Tenge was my salesperson for this car. Both salesmen were great to deal with, no pressure and I felt they helped me to get the best price possible. I would recommend either John Holtz or Dick Tenge if you visit Plaza Motors in St. Louis. As for the service department my experience has been very professional, efficient and very accommodating. I would very much recommend this dealership. More
I bought a 2011 Lexus ES350 from Candon Powell after doing quite a bit of shopping at other dealers for both the Lexus, as well as other luxury brands. I have recommended both the car and Candon to fri doing quite a bit of shopping at other dealers for both the Lexus, as well as other luxury brands. I have recommended both the car and Candon to friends. The car is by far the best car I have ever owned and that includes several Cadillacs, Mercedes, Acuras and Mazdas. And, Candon is my car salesman. My plan is to stick with Lexus for future purchases and they will be from Candon. He takes care of his customers. More

It did not take long for my husband and I realize his professional manner in dealing with customers, knowledge, and sincerity. We spend much time with him and he offered information that was valuable to know that we did not think to ask. We have bought many cars in our 33 years of marriage and we can honestly say we had the best experience ever with Plaza Motors. We had shopped the competition and makers of other autos. We felt we got a very fair deal on the new vehicle we purchased and I could not be more thrilled! Mr. Walton is the man to see at Plaza Motors if you are ready to purchase a new luxury vehicle. I was extremely happy with my experience at Plaza and my salesperson Steve. I visited the dealer several times before making my purchase and each time I was met with friendly and helpful people. Steve was fantastic in explaining to me the different options, prices, etc. and was enjoyable to work with. I never felt pressured and really had the sense that he wanted to make sure I was going to be happy with whatever decision I made. I was able to take a lengthy test drive - which was great in helping me make my final decision. Bob (Finance Manager) was also very helpful. After I made my purchase, Steve was also very helpful in answering any follow up questions and support. That made me feel that the transaction wasn't just a one time sale, but that I would receive continued service and support. I would recommend Plaza and Steve to my friends and family. More
I bought my car on 6/14/10 and brought in for oil change and check-up on 6/14/11 (day of my anniversary). They wrecked my car (front bumper) while my car was still in their possession. They even refused to tell me about til I thoroughly checked my car before I drive off the lot. Luckily, I noticed big scratches and chipped paint not only damage exterior they left big stains inside my car (driver side and passenger side) which took me 1 hour to clean afterwards. They refused to fix all the damage on my car. I would Not recommend anyone to bring his/her nice car for oil change and check-up. Go to another Lexus dealer!! More
