(1) I made appointment over the phone direct with Sports Mazda. I arrived at the appointment 15 minutes early. My vehicle was taken back and I waited as my only vehicle. The first acknowledgement I was even in rotation for service was 2+ hours. 15 minutes after that, the service advisor advised the vehicle was being reviewed. 1 hour later I received a video from the technician. The car was released 4+ hours from start to finish. (2) When the appointment was made I asked only for 2 issues, an oil change, and review of problem I was having with the side mirrors. I noticed when I signed in a tire rotation was added to the request. I asked the service advisor (there was actually one holding the pad and the other listening) to remove that service as I did not request it. I receive that service for free at the location I purchased the tires. When I received the video the technician indicated he was rotating the tires. I again went to the advisor advising that I had requested that not be completed. He ran out to the tech to tell him not to do it. On top of that confusion, the advisor then had the audacity to inform me that the next time I come in and request a service and then refuse it they would have to charge me......not exactly the customer service I would prefer. Make note that the text I received listed the advisors name as Jeff...not sure if this is a nickname? (3) the vehicle was purchased under the Cory Fairbanks days and when I asked for them to confirm if the mirror issue was covered under the extended warranty they could not even locate the extended warranty information. I had to call home and obtain that info for them to make a call. The extended warranty is a whole other issue that has been disappointing. (4) I have now had 2 instances where your technicians have recommended service as critical. When taken to another master tech both of those issues have been found to be unnecessary nor critical in nature(and by the way not recommended in the Mazda service manuals as to mileage). It is unfortunate I have had these experiences with a dealer I trusted and would likely have purchased another vehicle. I do not dislike the vehicle I own, rather it has been reliable. I have taken my vehicle to your facility since I owned it and have been on time with all required maintenance again performed at your facility. I have lost that feeling. Take this as an opportunity to make positive changes for the next guy.
