I bought a car at this dealership just over a year ago and ever since my experience with them has been nothing but horrible. I even got turned away today from oil change! This is what has transpired since I bought the car back in January 2015: As part of my purchase I got 25k free maintenance and after coming for 3 months later for the oil change I asked them to check front passenger side since I have been hearing strange noise when making turns (at that point of time car was only 3 months old). The service guy tells me he will 'try' to see if they can take a look since they were very busy that day (standard excuse last 4 times I came there). After more than 2 hours he comes back and says there is nothing wrong with my car (noise) and that they checked and drove it around the block. I asked if he was sure again but he stuck to his assessment. His name was I believe Rick Roark. Then 3 months later I am back for another oil change and as soon as I tell the service guy (I believe his name was Patrick Harrison) what service I need (oil change) and that I again need them to check strange noise coming from front passenger side when making turns, I get an excuse that they may not have time (very early in the morning on a weekend when they were not busy as far as I could tell) and also because they only do oil changes on weekends and they do not have technicians that do those type of repairs on weekends. Well, none of this info is posted on their website or any of their brochures...Anyways, after 2+ hours Patrick comes back and tells me that they fixed my noise issue and that it was a bad strut - there was a hole in the strut and all of its fluid leaked out - keep in mind this is 6+ months later after I purchased this brand new car and after I already told them about this issue yet they told me NOTHING was wrong with the car. I was pissed about this but did not make any fuss by talking to managers, supervisor, etc...I am strongly guessing that they never bothered to check the issue first time I brought it up to them and this was a brand new car!!! Then today, I made an appointment for oil change 45 minutes ahead of time and as soon as I showed up the maintenance guy (forgot to catch his name) he tells me that he MAY NOT be able to do it today. Then I asked how come I made an appointment 45 min ago and the website said they were open and free. The sales guy the. says it is because they do not say NO to anyone. Definitely not true because they tried to say NO to me every time I came there for any kind of service. Anyways, I told him that their website should NOT let customers make appointments when they are operating at full capacity (as it may be on weekends) and that they should emphasize that on their website, ads, via email, etc and after that and mentioning that they do 150-200 cars day he finally agrees to do my oil change (by this time I am already irritated because this is 3rd time in a row they tried to give an excuse for not doing a service they are supposed to do). Then I asked how long would it take and he responded 2-2 1/2 hours if I am lucky after which I just said forget it and that I am not coming back....So this is it folks, worst experience ever every time I stopped by....and I am not even mentioning all of the incidents I had with them - i.e. scratching my car all over when washing it after the oil change (it is not touchless car wash), giving me hardest time when I tried and finally succeeded cancelling my 100k extended warranty (which under the state law I was legally entitled to 90 days after the purchase with no penalities), taking forever to assist you as you pull in for service (happened every time I came by), etc...MY ADVICE: Do NOT purchase or service your car at Honda Cars of Corona...complete amateurs in everything they do! My wife and I went to check out a used Ridgeline they had available. As we entered the lot, we see the listed Ridgeline passing us by on the way in. Thinking we were mistaken, we asked the salesman about the one and only Ridgeline they had for sale in their inventory -- we find out it was just driven off the lot by the Finance Manager of the establishment, the same one we saw drive past us on the way into the lot -- for an "emergency" -- even though the Finance Manager's vehicle was on the premises. The salesman tried to get that finance manager to return with the vehicle but it was a no-go... she was already driving on the express lane and had no intentions of bringing the vehicle back until the following day. Fail. Anyway, we thanked the salesman for his help and went on our way. More

I've never before visited Honda of Corona, but I made a quick stop late Sunday night approx. 40 minutes before closing time. I called in and told them what I wanted to see, Ryan had the car up front and ready for show, Joe was my salesman and was helpful and friendly, and Rafael handled the purchase and finance paperwork. The whole time I never felt like I was getting any of the typical "used car dealer garbage" that one sees at other places. They stayed open about an extra hour and a half for me, and I they even re-washed the car at something like 10pm, even thought the car already looked clean ...... Wow! It was a pleasant experience and I walked away knowing that I got a "fair" price for my purchase. Thank you guys for your service. More

Especially Mr. Ron Speco, he always taking care all your needs for your car and help you to make the best decision no matter how hard the problem is. And all the mechanists that I met, they all very kind to help you for any your requests regarding your car besides the service pack. Honda Corona service department has warm, friendly and helpful workers. I trust them to take care of my car ! :) More

Left after being yelled at by a sales manager I walked into this dealership ready to buy a specific car that I had found online. The salesman, Jeff, was easy to work with and polite. I took it for a test drive and was ready to sign on the dotted line with no hassle. After collecting my signature and all my information and agreeing on a price and financing, I thought I was in the clear. However, as soon as they ran my credit, I was informed that the car had JUST been sold. This is where things went downhill. First of all, why did they need to run my credit if they were just going to inform me that the car had been sold? Why not tell me that the car was about to be sold, and let me look around at other vehicles or wait to see if the other buyer they had backed out? I started to leave the dealership, but then I walked back in to see if I could collect the form that I had filled out that had my social security number, address, phone, income, and the contact information for my employer as well as my mother, who I put as my emergency contact. I had approached Jeff as he was right inside his manager's office, and upon hearing my request, the manager immediately fired back that he couldn't do this with a very rude tone. Upon hearing his tone, I was a little more stern with my request, but after only getting about five words out, the sales manager, Ronaldo, started yelling at me. We went back and forth for a few minutes yelling in front of everyone else at the dealership until I stormed out. I have been a Honda owner before, and although I am still in the market for another Honda, I will absolutely never step foot in this dealership again if that's how sales managers treat prospective customers. I hadn't even met this guy before and he immediately was rude to me. I understand if they needed to keep the form, but he could have explained that to me in a calm, rational manner instead of yelling at me. More

After reading the reviews, I was going to go to a different dealer until I read the reviews for Jim Rist. I am here to tell you that the reviews about Jim Rist are very true! My brother and I wanted to purchase a Honda Civic for our mom. After reading Jim Rist's reviews, I called him and I told him that I would purchase the car from this dealership ONLY IF I dealt with Jim exclusively -- no one else. Jim assured me that he would be my sales rep and he would treat me very well. My brother, mom, and I arrived and a sales rep asked if he could help us. I told him that we have an appointment with Jim Rist. We found Jim and asked him to show us red, white, and silver Civics that are base models with an automatic transmission and nothing else. Jim said "No problem" and walked us out to these three cars. They looked great! He pointed to the mud flaps and said that they are extras on the car, but all of the extras can be taken off if we don't want them. He was very nice about it. We liked the red Civic (looks burgundy to me) and I said "Write it up!" I said that I wanted to see the Invoice and the Costco price sheet, since I am a Costco member. Jim said "No problem" and brought me both sheets. There was an alarm and something else on the Costco sheet. I told him that I did not want the extras and Jim said that he would pull them off. After talking with my mom and brother in private, we decided to purchase the alarm as a "thank you" to Jim for his great service. Yes, the alarm was a little over-priced, but we wanted to say thanks to Jim and we needed an alarm anyway. Jim walked us over to the finance department and he said that the finance manager was going to offer us options at Costco pricing (extended warranty, etc) and it was our choice to purchase or pass. The finance manager was very nice and told us about the options. We considered them, but ended up passing on them. I can tell you from the bottom of my heart that working with Jim Rist was the best new car purchase experience in my life. I turn 50 years old tomorrow and I have purchased a lot of new cars for me and my family. I walked out of three Honda dealerships before I purchased a Honda Pilot for my wife. Even then, the dealer tried to inflate the Lease payments. On the other hand, Jim Rist proved to me that you can purchase a brand new car and have fun doing so! Jim took really good care of my brother, me, and my mom. Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with. I took a bunch of Jim Rist's cards and I plan to give them to anyone who is looking for a new car. Honda cars are extremely reliable and great cars. Now I have a great person who will sell me a Honda with great kindness and excellent integrity. From now on, I will purchase Hondas exclusively. Toyotas are nice, but Hondas are better! I will purchase Hondas because I can now purchase a new car and I will have fun with the experience because I have Jim Rist's information. He is a great guy and I personally vouch for him (and only him). More

The quality of work, friendliness, and over all experience were top of the class. I would like to commend your staff specifically Jun, Brian and Rafael. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. They made it quick and easy to purchase my Pilot, and got me financed at the lowest rate possible. Hardly any negotiating was done because the deal I got was perfect. The staff was professional throughout, friendly, upfront, and honest. I truly appreciated that. If I ever have to purchase a new Car, Honda of Corona with Jun, Brian, and Rafael is where I will come to first. I will highly recommend this dealership and staff to all of my friends and family in the future. This was the best car deal I have ever made. I was given VIP treatment, respected, convenient, and the staff was extremely courteous. Thank you very much Jun, Brian, and Rafael. I got everything I asked for in the deal, and was out the dealership within an hour or so with my new car More
