They were never able to Bought a brand new Kia Sorento and right off the bat it had a multitude of quirky things wrong with it. Had to tow it in once. They were never able to recreate the issues and never fixed a single thing. Must have had it up there a dozen times and never once did they fix anything. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago when the check engine light came on. They reset the light AGAIN and sent me home. Took it back a week later when light came on again and now that I’m 200 miles over my warranty they say my engine is ruined and that i didn’t change my oil and they refuse to fix anything. Calls to customer service went unanswered. So today i drove it to our mechanic to get a 2nd opinion. I will never ever go there again. Ever. Awful customer service and their warranty isn’t worth using as toilet paper. More

Great Experience Richard knew that I was inside a time crunch for the day. I texted on my way over and he had the vehicle ready for a test drive and immediately start Richard knew that I was inside a time crunch for the day. I texted on my way over and he had the vehicle ready for a test drive and immediately started appraisal of my trade in. Great Service and I really appreciated not having to spend an entire Saturday on this. The only area that slowed us down, was having to wait for an hour to do paperwork. I would like to see this expedited. More

Poorly Trained Technicians / Unnecessary Repairs I had my car towed up the service center to have to have the starter evaluated to see if it had failed. I also purchased a replacement starter in cas I had my car towed up the service center to have to have the starter evaluated to see if it had failed. I also purchased a replacement starter in case that was the problem. I get a message telling my car was in to have the starter tested. I get email back saying, "[W]e did get the vehicle in the shop and verify [sic] it is just the starter." When I read that sentence I could not imagine any other way to think that anything else could be wrong but the starter. I give verbal permission to replace the starter. The starter is replaced and I get a phone call. My substitute "Service Consultant" tells me that after they get the starter in, they also determined the battery is bad. They can sell me one for $300 plus installation. I know my battery is under a full warranty for 3 years and it has only been two years. I tell him I going to replace it myself. I go to pickup my car and it is left out front running (needed to be since the battery can not turn the engine over). No issues there. I take the car home, turn it off. It will not start.. ok, that is what I expect. No issue there. I go get a replacement battery and replace it. Car starts fine. I take the part back to O'Reilly auto where I bought the replacement to return the core and get my core charge back. He asks me if I would like it tested (he didn't know yet I was there for a core refund). I tell him yes. He goes in the back and I hear the starter fire up in the back and think that it sucked that starter works but the solenoid was probably out making it still useless. The gentleman returns and tells me the part tested out fine. I asked him if he absolutely certain. He said he was and took me back to the machine they use to test the starter. It showed a picture of the starter, part number and that it had passed ALL of the test including the amp load test. He told me this starter would easily continue to start my car for years to come. So that made me wonder how a factory certified trained technician could make such a ridiculous mistake. I mean you can test your starter with a battery, jumper cables and screw driver. It takes just a few minutes. But again how can a factory trained and certified technician screw up something that a lay person could easily test. Then I realized that whatever test they used to "test" the starter fell WAY below how it should have been tested. Why would technician not start with the part most likely to fail, the battery? Funny how AFTER they get the starter on they try to sell me a $400 battery installation/service. I always ask for my old parts back to examine them myself. This time, I was in a hurry and just needed my car fixed. If it were not for the O'Reilly employee I would not have known how crooked or incompetent or BOTH Youngblood Service Center is. So I went in for a check that should have cost me about $50 bucks, that should have told me my battery was bad and starter was good. But instead they try to set me up for $1100.00 of unnecessary engine work. That is about as crooked as it gets. I emailed my complaint to the my service rep and the General Manager. No response. They were also suppose to address a recall notice while my car was there... No sign that they even inspected the recall item. If they tell you have parts that need to be replaced, ALWAYS ask to see your old parts. I normally wait until all of the work is done. This makes it more difficult for them to cover up incompetence or fraudulent behavior. I would not trust these people to change the batteries in my little girls remote control car. I imagine that would be at least a $400 service. Take my advice and ONLY deal with them in written form or it will end up being your word versus theirs... and that never works out for the customer. Update: 04/09/19 I get an token email from the "Service Manager" Er1c Gagn3pain stating that he has repeatedly TOLD me my service was done correctly and he expects me to take his word. I have asked for something VERY SIMPLE, show me in the KIA service manual the procedure you followed. If upon reviewing the procedure, I determine that my car would still have not started when I went to pick it up I would accept his explanation and not bother him any further. BUT he refuses to show me the service manual regarding the troubleshooting done on my ignition. He knows if the service manual was followed exactly, then they would have determined the battery to be BAD FIRST THING... not after they replaced the starter (which has been tested to be good by TWO separate independent companies), THEN "discover" the battery was bad. I try emailing him directly with questions and remedies that he can provide at ZERO cost to himself to satisfy me, but he knows he can not show me the service manual, because he knows the manual says that you can not proceed to test the starter WITHOUT having a good battery.. I know, I already have the service manual. So he stalls, talks in circles and eventually tells me "I guess I don't see where any resolution is necessary. Please let us know if we can help with the Service Campaign on you vehicle. Thank you again for your feedback!" More
