Service Advisors: Great! Service Techs: Swing and a miss I brought my 17' Acadia in for an oil change and recall work. While I had it in there, I asked them to take a look at a situation of water somehow get I brought my 17' Acadia in for an oil change and recall work. While I had it in there, I asked them to take a look at a situation of water somehow getting on the inside of the rear window glass anytime it rained really hard. The oil and filter were changed, but the oil life meter was not reset. I also did not get any feedback on the condition of the engine or cabin air filters. The recall work was completed appropriately. They worked on trying to diagnose the water getting into the vehicle at the rear glass, but they could not duplicate the issue. However, as I was driving home from the dealership I noticed water on the inside of the window. I don't know how long they waited to see where the water was coming in from, but it obviously was not long enough. I understand that the techs are under pressure to get things done as quickly as possible, but sometimes just a little more time would make the difference between a diagnosis and an inability to duplicate symptoms. It really is the details that make the difference in the quality of service. More
I used to be very happy with the service but after being hit with an s as knits 900$bill with more than 50% going to labor was sticker shock to say the least. The service had been going down lately with problems being brought to them only to be told “its hereditary“ and be sent away and then have to replace expensive parts after the warranty expired. Same with brakes when I asked them to pull them apart since they were getting older to make sure they were ok. They pulled the tires and did a visual inspection and told they were fine. short time later I’m being told all the brakes need replacing to the tune of about $1000. Up until these events I had been very satisfied. More

2019 GMC Terrain I did not realize what a 2019 holdover was. I’ve since learned that it means it’s a piece of crap. Because of the COVID 19 my car sat for almost 2 m I did not realize what a 2019 holdover was. I’ve since learned that it means it’s a piece of crap. Because of the COVID 19 my car sat for almost 2 months. I drove to Florida and parked it for a week while visiting. When I went to get into it, my car was dead. I called AAA to come jump my car. They couldn’t do it. Come to find out, the cells in my battery were dead and I had to but a new battery to come home. When I told my technician she told me there wasn’t anything the dealership could do, I need to call GMC directly. So much for service after the sale. I probably won’t go back there and I definitely won’t recommend ST J Auto to anyone. More
