This situation constitutes a clear case of misrepresentation at the time of sale. I was explicitly told by the sales manager that the vehicle was equipped with both a front and rear camera. The front camera is physically installed and clearly visible, which reasonably reinforced that representation. The only indication otherwise was a single “–$600” line buried among dozens of line items on the window sticker. It was never highlighted, explained, or called out in any meaningful way. Expecting a customer to identify and correctly interpret one factory credit among an extensive list of features and pricing details—and to assume that visibly installed hardware is non-functional—is unreasonable and misleading. As a result, I purchased a ~$60,000 vehicle with no front parking sensors and a front camera that is physically present but unusable, contrary to how the vehicle was represented during the sales process.
