FYI CANT TAG NISSAN OF YORKTOWN BC THEY DONT LET YOU TAG THEIR PAGE AND THIS IS WHY! Whatever you do do not go to nissan of yorktown. Went to get a new lease and trade in a Chevy the next day I was not happ THEIR PAGE AND THIS IS WHY! Whatever you do do not go to nissan of yorktown. Went to get a new lease and trade in a Chevy the next day I was not happy with the car and wanted my Chevy back which they said I could do yet when I called they told me it was too late less than 24 hours later. The pathfinder I have is overall ok but due to my disability the seat is beyond low and causes pain everyday. Again they said too bad can’t help. Took the car in for service in July they told me they would take the car back now which I was happy with but told them I only had one car and once I could I would they said no problem. I went back for service in October asked if they could take the lease back early as they said they could with no issue the lady Maddy I believe her name was said let me see they should since this is what they told me. She comes back and tells me they want 3k now to do so. I was in shock! Her response to me was well you should have done it when you had the chance what were you waiting for? We’ll I was waiting to have a second car instead of having nothing with two kids. They could care less about the customers they have it’s like your nothing to them. I thought with my sever back disability they would stand by what they said. Then I call today for a payoff amount they guy tells me he’s too busy to help me and transfers me I said will someone answer before you keep transferring me? He said yes. I was on hold for 45 minutes before giving up and being so disgusted yet again. Do yourself a favor go to any other dealership all they do here is treat customers that have already bought or leased a car like xxxx because they know they already have you boxed in. Save yourself the time, trouble, and utter disrespect and go somewhere that will stand by what they say and do the right thing. I will never recommend or go to a Nissan dealer ever again. Chevy has been great, every time I use them & they have been trying harder than Nissan and I’m not even there customer right now. And if you have a disability make sure you especially don’t go there because it means nothing to them and that in itself is disturbing. More
I want to applaud the Service Manager at Nissan of Yorktown Heights! His name Chris Risnes. He has only been there about 6 months. Although the business is about cars, he is about the people! I believe with his leadership, and modeling excellent customer service, this very low non- rating by the BBB, will not only improve, but excel. Chris went above and beyond to resolve a serious issue I had with my Nissan. I did not have transportation to the service department, and my car had the kind of problem that was a true safety issue. Chris did not delay, put off, make excuses, try to upsell, he went out of his way, came to where I live, left his car and took my car to the service department to be fixed. It took a day longer than he thought it might to get the part. He called me and let me know as soon as he knew. He called me the next day also to share an update. And he called when he was on his way back with my car. Elizabeth, who was at the service desk and took my call, also showed exemplary customer service ... she did not try and "get rid of me', listened to my story, and immediately went and talked to Chris, explained my story and he returned my call within a half hour. Both Chris and Elizabeth made me feel like they would find a solution, no matter what... not more obstacles. If your experince in the service department has felt lacking, prior to 6 months ago, please at least give those two folks a shot... they made all the difference in my experience as a customer needing assistance! After months of searching and having a deposit on a car and not having an ETA somewhere else, I drove the 40 mins to Yorktown Heights Nissan and walked away with my dream car same day. When you walk through the door you are greeted so nicely, would you like coffee, hot coco, have a seat in the cubical office. We wanted to buy the 2017 White Dodge Caravan on the lot. Our salesman was adorable Joe T, he was a nice Italian boy, a sweet young man. The dealership had the van listed for over $20,000. The new manager Mike came into the cubical office, and he asked me what do you want to pay for the van, we said, not $20,000, maybe $18,000, he said he could do $19,000, 3-year bumper to bumper, and $15,00 for our trade in. He ran my credit, and we made an arrangement to pick up the van on Tuesday Night! Ok, we leave and on Tuesday we get a call from Joe, we can't sell the van yet, we have to get the bank release we sent the payoff check to the wrong bank address. WHAT? They already got my insurance card sent to the dealership. Maybe a little aggressive with the insurance push, I think you are suppose to sell the car to the new owners before you change their insurance information. I had to call my insurance and had everything switched back to normal. What a mess. A couple of days turned into weeks, The salesman Joe, kept saying that the last owner of the car went to the beach everyday with his metal detector that's why the van only has 24,000 miles. In the meantime I started doing research on the 2017 Dodge Caravan, I put the VIN number into Edmunds.com and it came back the 2017 Dodge Caravan was only worth $16,600, I was taken back by the number difference. Then, I did comparisons, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and it blew my mind how much cheaper these vans are with only a couple of thousand miles more. Then, Joe calls and says I got the bank release for the 2017 Dodge Caravan do you still want to buy it? I said, only if the numbers are right meaning the price. We went back to Nissan of Yorktown Heights on Saturday July 10, 2021, 10:30 in the morning. We said we want to look the car over again, we had a lot of heavy rain the last couple of days. As we were looking over the van, we saw a lot of damage we didn't see before, body rot that was covered up with touch up paint the rain must of washed it off. the screws were also rusted, there was no spare tire, the under body was rusted, there was a dent on the back panel, and it was clear to me, the previous owner went to the beach everyday with his metal detector that's how the car got the body rot, it was the salt water in the air it rots metal. Again, they got my insurance card sent to them the day before I kept telling Joe, I don't know Joe, the numbers have to be right before we buy this van. We were turned off from the body rot on the car, and they refused to take $2000 more off the van because the van was only worth $16,600, which at that point we didn't want the van anymore. We lost our appetite with this dealership, we were done with making a deal, so we left. The reason I am sharing this is because in June they ran my credit, after they knew I didn't want the car on July 10, 2021, they ran my credit 4 more times that day without my permission. The Finance Agent knew I didn't want the van and he ran my credit 4 more times. THINK ABOUT HOW SHADY THAT IS TO DO TO A CONSUMER. He knew exactly what he was doing he brought my credit score down 23 points because I didn't buy the White 2017 Dodge Caravan. They're very spiteful characters in this dealership. Consumer Beware. More
Absolutely awful....Bring a mechanic and your lawyer with you if you're getting a car from them. Nick, their so called manager has 0 remorse about selling a lemon no matter how many bad Google reviews his you if you're getting a car from them. I just wanted the price of a car. They don’t put a sticker price. We went in. I was asked for my license and told I would get it back when the car I really didn’t want to test drive came. Was shown th sticker price. We went in. I was asked for my license and told I would get it back when the car I really didn’t want to test drive came. Was shown the features handed the keys and I tested it. Came back and he tried to run numbers before he told me the sticker price. I told him I couldn’t afford it and he insisted he could bring the numbers to where I could. I said no to the car. I left and realized he never gave me my license back. Called when I realized and he didn’t have my license. They LOST my license. Stay away. They are scammers. More
