We are sorry that you were unhappy with your experience here at Lee Chrysler Dodge Jeep. There are, however, a few facts that you may have confused. The oil change visit you refer to was on December 19, 2012. A complimentary inspection of the vehicle at that time revealed looseness in the front end of the car. You authorized our Chrysler certified technician to inspect further, he advised that the brakes needed to be repaired and gave you an estimate that day. You declined to have the work done at that time. Your total bill on that day was only $39.64. No brake work was done on the car that day. Since we did not perform the work on the car that day, any lights that came on while driving back to Navarre or a week later as you indicate were a result of the same problem that you chose to not repair at that time. Not any new problem since we had not had an opportunity to perform any work on the car. Three months later you finally returned to the dealership and requested that the brake repairs be performed by our Chrysler certified technician. That work cost just over $1000. There was only one trip for the tire rods and front and rear brakes. Not several trips, as you indicate. 4 months after that, the indicator lights came on in your car for a completely different problem. Another one of our Chrysler certified technicians replaced the speed wheel sensor and hub, ABS traction control light and one tire pressure sensor light. That visit cost $700. Another 4 months after that, additional indicator lights came on in your vehicle. There are 4 wheel sensor lights in the vehicle so it would not be unheard of in a car that is now at 107,000 miles and 7 years old to need two sensor lights replaced. Either way, our technicians gave you two options depending on how involved these repairs were. At that time, you declined to have the work done so no further work was completed. There is no record of a tire light at this visit. While we understand it is frustrating to have your vehicle not working properly, we did not lie to you about repairs or charge you just to try to find something wrong. There is a hourly fee anytime one of our technicians takes the time to inspect and diagnose a car. That is standard in the automotive industry. In addition, prior to the first incident mentioned in your email, we had only performed two oil changes to the vehicle, one in March 2009 and one in July 2011. So clearly, someone else must have been servicing the vehicle throughout these last 7 years. The service team at Lee Chrysler Dodge Jeep has over 50 years of combined experience working on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles. We strive to give the best customer service possible and truly regret that you felt that you did not receive that level of service.

I only had my oil changed two times from you people, wow and you say you do not lie to customers.... You may be just be forgetting one small little detail... I have all the receipts for numerous oil changes and transmission filter changes and more if you would like to see them. You lie and have a very substandard service department. Maybe if you would hire people who actually knew what they were doing you would not have to lie constantly and work on things that are fine. After my last visit to this dump I took my vehicle to a REAL service department and had them check it out (Front end and lights) completely, and surprise they told me there was nothing wrong with my car at all, this was just a week after your service department told me I needed $700+ work done on it. Have not had a problem since your people made things look like they needed fixing. The people who told me my vehicle needed fixing again were lying and I consider them to be nothing but crooks. Your establishment should be avoided at all costs. SUBSTANDARD is the word of the day when referring to LEE Chrysler Dodge in Fort Walton Beach. I would not let these clowns work on a bicycle.

We are so sorry that you were dissapointed with your experience here at Lee Chrysler Dodge Jeep. The problem with your jeep was a multi-fuction switch, which was not covered under the warranty. We didn't fix the problem because you declined the service. If you had allowed us to perform the repair, we would have charged you for the repairs only. Since you declined, we charged you the $90 diagnostic fee that you had agreed to pay if you didn't have the vehicle serviced here. Again, we are sorry that you were dissapointed with your experience. We try to make every customer happy.

The vehicle came in with a misfire code. Upon diagnosis, the technician advised that it could be a problem with the fuel injectors, but to know for sure, it would require us taking the engine apart. Mr. Denton elected to begin with the installation of the fuel injectors, as that was the least expensive option, and see if that fixed it. Unfortunately, that did not fix the problem and, it became apparent that it was an internal engine issue. We advised the customer that without tearing the engine completely apart, we could not fully know the extent of the repair, but we could see the lifter was not moving. The customer decided to get a second opinion and had the vehicle towed to another shop. That shop told the customer that the push rod was bent because it had been over tightened, but it actually is not possible to over tighten the push rod in that model Jeep. We tried to explain to Mr. Denton that it was all part of the original issue with the vehicle, we just never were given the opportunity to finish diagnosing and repairing the problem. We offered to do the work for him at a significantly discounted rate, but he declined the offer and instead wanted us to reimburse him for the repairs that he had done on his vehicle at another shop. We are neither unethical nor incompetent and have a team of Chrysler certified Master Technicians that specialize in servicing Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles. We are sorry that Mr. Denton felt that he did not have a positive experience with us here at Lee Chrysler Dodge Jeep, as we always strive to make every customer happy.

The response from the dealer is not accurate. I brought the jeep to them with a small miss and no engine noise. They did their diagnostics and told my wife that it needed injectors. They then contacted my wife and said that it was better and that it could be picked up. They said that they felt it still had some mis-fire and that it ran better. When I arrived to pick up and started the jeep, the engine had a very loud metal hitting metal noise that was not there when the jeep was brought to them. I had one of the salesman listen to this and they instantly had me shut down the engine. I was then contacted by their service department and was told that they needed to look deeper into the problem. They said that the noise would get quieter as the engine warmed up and that it was safe for us to drive.......verbatim. I then had another mechanic shop look at the jeep and ended up having to replace n engine due to bent push rod that was not bent when it was brought to dealership. I contacted the dealership to demand refund on work done previous as they had caused more damage to engine and should not profit from this work as they caused more damage. I did not ask the dealership to pay for engine work. They caused more damage to this vehicle and are trying not be responsible. As of this day, the dealership operations director has yet to return my call. They do not make every attempt to make the customer happy. Refund what I paid in good faith what was paid. How would they expect a customer to pay for fuel injectors if the engine had a bent push rod.......incompetence or unethical. Again, stay away from this dealership!!!!!!!!!!!!
