in a nutshell. took my pick up in for a recall they skrewed it up and it has not run right since. they won't return phone calls. and refuse to make right. More

VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED ON 6/09/11 AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH RECALL WORK.CONTACTED TOYOTA AND NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED.NOT SURE WHAT TO DO FROM HERE.

you inspected it? you did a block test. if you would of inspected ferther you would of found(like I did) that your macanic when he removed the heads to change the head gaskets he nocked the valve shims out. when he put them back in he put the WRONG ONE ON TOP OF THE #6 EX.VALVE and it's been hanging open. now it's burnt. if your macanic would have checked the valv lash when he put it back together this hole nightmare would not of happend but I guss that was to much work!!! and if you would have returned ONE my MANY phone calls I mite been able to explane this to you!!!! but I guss that's not going to happen. I'm just skrewed. but I guss that's the stephen wade way. this never would of happened if it was still stanger toyota. live & learn.

YOUR REPAIR WAS DONE A YEAR AGO AND WE INSPECTED YOUR VEHICLE FOR YOU AT NO CHARGE AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG IN WHAT WE DID,YOUR VEHICLE PASSED A BLOCK AND YOUR VEHICLE HAS GONE 4,213 SINCE REPAIR.IF VALVE SHIMS WERE MISSING YOUR VEHICLE WOULD HAVE HAD PROBLEM LONG BEFORE 4,213 MILES

it had a problem from day one! and the shims were not missing. your knitt witt manacanic put them on top of the the wrong valves.
