While we completely understand how disappointing it can be when a repair isn’t covered under a protection plan, coverage decisions are determined by the provider of the plan—not our service department. Our team’s role is to diagnose the concern and submit the claim according to the terms of the coverage. In this case, it appears the specific part needing repair unfortunately fell outside of what your Hyundai protection plan includes. We know that’s not the outcome you were hoping for, but we are required to follow the plan’s guidelines and coverage terms as written.
