I bought a 2024 rav4 xse, I paid for it in full, 47,000 dollars after everything. I had everything you could possibly get insurance and warranty wise. At 54,000 miles the engine popped. I had it towed to the nearest dealership at the time, I was currently in a road trip, so i was out of town, approximately 4 1/2 hours from my house. Hao the assistant manager took my case when i walked true the door, Only if i knew this would be the beginning of my biggest nightmare of my life. After being told You are on your own about the rental or Support vehicle, He told me to go to enterprise for a car, after going to enterprise Coming out of my own pocket(Even to be lucky at all to even get a vehicle) I drove back to the dealership, he said they needed me to approve of a 500+ dollar engine tear down because they need to figure out what happen to the car because they thought it was my fault and not mechanic malfunction. They literally ganged up on me and started blaming me for the car. After explaining to them it wasn’t my fault, they told me to come back the next day. I literally drove home and Started trying to figure out my next steps, The next day i was told by them, There was water in the car and that it wouldn’t be covered under warranty. I asked him how that happened and they said it entered through the air filter, which is approximately 3 1/2 almost 4 feet up in the air that was their excuse. I called corporate had them sent their own tech to do their own evaluation. They said that they were gonna stand by the dealership. The dealership service Director called me and told me to call my insurance I did when the insurance provider showed up at the dealership they denied me because they didn’t have sufficient evidence of water damage. I appealed that decision. Somehow the service director convinced the manager to approve of the engine. This took a month and a half to take place once they finally got the engine. They almost got me taken out of my rental through my insurance because they couldn’t get the date of when the car was gonna be fixed correct so I’m almost almost stuck out of the vehicle because of them again, I literally found out my engine was being done on a certain day because of the insurance called me and said I need to return the rental after with the insurance and getting in my rental extended. I have them call me and tell me that the car wouldn’t crank because my transmission is blown. These people are sick obviously my insurance is going to cover the transmission as well but how long is this gonna take? This has been going on over two months. This is unacceptable unprofessional in this place should be investigated. when and if I ever do get my car back, I don’t trust it. btw they quoted me the engine when I thought I was gonna have to pay for it for $25,000. I have pictures and proof of everything because I thought i was gonna have to sue them. I honestly believe deep in my heart, and I don’t say this lightly, I think these people put water in my engine so they didn’t have to cover it. I have lost sleep over this and this has effective every aspect of my life. I have seen my wife in tears and I thank god everyday that the insurance is covering this. More

We bought a 2023 highlander last week and was having issues with deleting the previous owner's profile in the system. We called the salesman who sold us the car and was asked to bring in the car to reso issues with deleting the previous owner's profile in the system. We called the salesman who sold us the car and was asked to bring in the car to resolve the issue. After waiting for the salesman for an hour, we were referred to another salesman to look at the issue. But this salesperson could not fix it and asked us to take the car to the service department. No one would help us there and was given an1- 800 number for assistance. After wasting about 2 hours at the dealership we came home. Our daughter looked at the car and was able to fix it in 10 minutes. Horrible customer service. More

I dropped my car at 945 am for an appointment for service, I asked the representative if he could also check on a part that was supposed to have been ordered as part of the new car warranty back in N service, I asked the representative if he could also check on a part that was supposed to have been ordered as part of the new car warranty back in November, I explained that it now the end of April and I haven't heard from the dealership, I also explained that I called 2 months ago and they told me it hasn't arrived and that they would call me. They text me to inform me truck was ready at 1:02pm. I arrived around 245 to pick it up and asked if everything was good he explained yes, so he took me to the cashier, where the gentlemen asked me to initial all the paperwork, I explained I would like to read the paperwork before I sign as I was looking to see if they replaced the part that I had previously asked about when I arrived, I told he I need to speak to the advisor as I don't see any mention of it. I went back and spoke to Andrew and asked him what did he find out about the part, he told me that it hasn't arrived so I asked if he could print the paperwork that shows it has been ordered, he proceeded to look at it then mentions it doesn't look like it had been ordered yet, he they informs me the advisor whom seen me back in November should have ordered it who was Reynaldo, so he took me to see Reynaldo, Reynaldo looks in to and call the parts department and finds out that they do have some in stock and that if I would wait they would install it, I explain that my truck has been here since 945 am and that it could have been done in that time and now I have to wait even longer for it that was the reason I dropped it off to allow them all the time that was necessary to complete whatever was needed, So no he informs me to bring it back and they will install it. I inform him that taking more time out of my day is to place a part that the dealership was aware of since November is very disappointing as if I need to leave it I will also need to find a ride and take time away from whomever provides me that ride. So I agree as i need/want to get my NEW truck back to it original condition. Wait that's not all, I get up this morning the next day April 27th and go to move my truck and I notice oil on my brand new driveway, so I get under the truck and I notice oil dripping from underneath. couldn't identify where it is coming from so now I will have to take time away from work monday morning to take it in to have it looked at and see where the oil is coming from, keep in mind this is a brand new track with only 12K miles on it. as you can most likely tell, I am now very happy with this situation, especially coming from a Toyota dealership a brand I have come to love and trust. oh, almost forgot, I got into the truck and they forgot to reset the service light, so I went back in and asked Reynaldo if he could resent it, so he came out and said ok it done, So I say Thank you and leave, I get to my destination and guess what pop up, the service light, looks like he did not complete the reset properly so its still on today. I guess I have to google and do it my self. Not angry just disappointed with this dealership. More
