Thank you for taking the time to speak with us after your initial review and for bringing your vehicle back so we could inspect your concern. We requested that you return so we could verify the quality of the oil change and ensure everything was performed to Toyota standards. After a thorough inspection, we confirmed that the oil leak was not caused by the oil change or the drain plug. We found significant impact damage to the bottom of the oil pan, including a large dent, as well as damage to the engine splash shield. This damage is what caused the oil pan to leak. We understand this was not the outcome you were expecting, and we know how frustrating it can be to discover an oil. Although the damage is unrelated to the oil change we performed, we are more than happy to assist with the necessary repairs. Because the oil pan was damaged by an outside impact, the repair would be the vehicle owner's responsibility. We appreciate the opportunity to inspect your vehicle and are here to answer any questions or help you get the repairs completed as quickly as possible, thank you.
