I worked with him years ago, and wanted to support a friend in a new job... and we needed a car, possibly two. He and I talked back and forth through emails to get a better feel for what we wanted, what we could do, and what we were hoping for. I came in and saw him just me and him first. And got to see a couple of options. That first experience was great. Very encouraging to consider that next step in car buying. Patrick was not pushy. He wasn't that typical "cars salesman." He was intentional. He listened. He was definitely taking mental notes. It was worth it to bring my wife back the next day to begin the less than fun experience of car shopping. When we arrived Patrick brought us back to us office quickly, chatted briefly, showed us his prepared list of cars to check out, and then we all went to get the keys. He ended up showing us about 10 cars: new and used. We got in them. We looked at the features. Many we turned on. Opened trunks. Checked them out intently. I took notes on everything to remember, because I knew we were hitting up a few dealerships, to be fair. We didn't talk financing too much that day, but he knew our limits and was intentional in what he showed us. He didn't show us the nicest and flashiest things to break my heart by telling me we couldn't afford it. He built a nice group to consider, and told us (truly honestly) the ins and outs of them all - and how they would fit our needs and wants. Both my wife and I had an incredible experience with Patrick and his willingness to go above and beyond. When we left to go to the other dealerships, we had a feeling we would be back. And after going to two other dealerships recommended to us - we found ourselves disappointed with the other options. We went back to Patrick at SW VW the next morning with the whole family! We narrowed the original showings down to 5 or 6. From that we discussed in his office a little more. We narrowed down to three used vehicles: a Nissan Rogue, VW Jetta and a VW Tiguan. They were brought up to us, and we tried the car seats out to make sure they fit. Finances then went through Tony (combined with Patrick). We negotiated to keep our rates within a doable budget. They were kind. Courteous. And not at all pushy. Patrick had gotten to know us well enough to know what we were going for, and how to think about the financing in a smart way. Ultimately we negotiated for two relatively new-used vehicles (the Jetta and Tiguan) that fell a little bit above what we initially had wanted. We could not be happier. The cars are a huge step up from what we had. They drive like a dream. The features are incredible, and I am so excited to not only have a good car, but a safe one. The pairing of Tony and Patrick was great, and they truly took care of us. I will definitely be back there next time. AND the experience brought my mom in the same day to get a brand new 2021 Tiguan! Patrick has a referral program, and it just happened to work out that mom was looking! I cannot recommend Patrick enough! I will be talking him up whenever someone needs a car! More
