Disappointed with the customer service and efficiency of my service visit. Made appointment by telephone one month in advance. Received four emails and a telephone call in the week leading up to the visit about earlier appointment times, which I declined. When I arrived I was quoted an estimate for the 10,000 maintenance visit of $136. I informed the associate that I had purchased the VW Care Plus Plan, which should have been known. I was told it did not cover the cost to rotate my tires. I cannot find any documentation that states what is covered under the standard warranty or the VW Care Plus plan, so I must trust that rotating tires is not covered. Vehicle was taken back 20 minutes after my appointment and everyone who called or came in for an appointment was told it was an hour and a half to two hour wait because they had 18 appointments and only three mechanics on duty. I speculate that maybe the reason for the attempts to encourage me to change my appointment is because of the shortage of mechanics to appointments on this day. I do not expect a long wait when I make the appointment at the time of opening and a month in advance. The dealership should know if a vehicle is covered under the VW Care Plan especially if it is only two years old and less than 10,000 miles. I am recommending this service center because I did receive good customer service during my first maintenance visit last December. More
