Very Very MISLEADING I took my Honda Civic to be serviced at this Honda dealership and when called about the services they were going to complete that day, I asked what th I took my Honda Civic to be serviced at this Honda dealership and when called about the services they were going to complete that day, I asked what the TOTAL cost of services would be for my vehicle. I was told approx. $900 which I could not pay so we went through the services and I removed a few of them from the list making my new total approx. $500. When my wife went to pick up the vehicle she was told that the total was $1,300.00. She paid and then called me because she was shocked at the price and so was I. I called the service rep. that had spoken to me on the phone and she told me that the $500 was just additional services that we had not already requested but I had asked what the TOTAL cost of services would be. She said that because services had been done there was nothing she could do so I asked to speak to her manager. I knew that I had to pay for some of the services but I wanted some kind of discount due to the fact that it was not completely my fault that I was mislead on the total cost. This is where it took an ugly turn. In speaking with this gentleman he told me that he couldn't help me unless I had a coupon (which made no sense that I would save my coupon for after I completed the service) and that he couldn't help it that "I got confused" and that it was a consumer error and that I should "communicate better with my wife" which I feel is completely unacceptable so I demanded to speak to his manager. Finally I was able to speak with Dena who said she understood and gave me a 10% discount which wasn't a lot but at least I felt that she was more understanding of the situation and she showed good customer service. I do not recommend using the service department of this dealership but if you do, always check that you would like a full estimate before completing any service. More

Very good experience at 60,000 miles While it is difficult to determine exactly what servicing is needed at certain milestones between the manufacturer’s recommendation and the dealer, wi While it is difficult to determine exactly what servicing is needed at certain milestones between the manufacturer’s recommendation and the dealer, with the help of one of Lejeune’s technicians, we arrived at a reasonable list of maintenance items to be done at 60,000 (some of which possibly should have been done sooner). Fluid replacement is always the question given that these are sealed systems but, I suppose there could be a breakdown in the fluids over time and use. In any case, the only item that had to be added to my original list was the coolant system service. The staff was very helpful and informative. They arranged for a shuttle to and from the dealership so that I could accomplish another task. The work was done on time and at the cost agreed to upfront. All in all, it was a good experience. More
