Not sure why they were not able to find the car’s service record at all in records so I was not able to schedule a service appt until they talk to the car owner to track down the service record . I have had a terrible experience at Stingray Chevrolet regarding recall work and warranty work. I have been trying to get recall and warranty work done for nearly 4 months. Luis thenrep tried to tell me t regarding recall work and warranty work. I have been trying to get recall and warranty work done for nearly 4 months. Luis thenrep tried to tell me thatbdue to my attitude Stingray would not perform the safety recalls or warranty work wince Indidnt want to pay $1100 for them to change the battery prior to performing the recalls. I finally did get the recall work but it required me becoming irate and talking to the manager for them to fix the recall issues without charging me a ridiculous $1100 to change batteries. I still have an engine that grinds gears, shuts off randomly, and a transmission that violently jumps and clubks when I shift from part to drive. They will not permorm the work unless that can find a way to unjustly charge me to fix it by "trial and error" while milking me along the way for work that is covered by the warranty and safety issues that are covered by the manufacturer. This truck isnt even 1 year old and to be honest the entire truck is a safety issues and ahould be recalled. More
