Very upset with how I was lied to when trying to purchase a $40,000 van from Stivers. I called ahead because I am severely immune compromised and wanted to get pre approval so I didn’t have to expose mysel a $40,000 van from Stivers. I called ahead because I am severely immune compromised and wanted to get pre approval so I didn’t have to expose myself unnecessarily, I specifically said I can not be exposed and need to have everything done prior to signing papers. The sales person told me no problem, that everything was wiped down and everyone is required to wear a mask and all I had to do was apply online, which I did and he take care of it. I sat in the cubical waiting for him to find the van keys for at least half an hour and he had not even gotten pre approval. There were 4 employees walking around without masks, one spitting in a bottle as he walked around, the desk in front of me was filthy and had clearly NOT been wiped down so I know the chairs were not. I walked out and he called asking if we were leaving, he said he would call once he got the approval to just wait in the car, that’s been over an hour ago and I still have not heard from Jessie. If you want to make a large purchase like this with a company that does not care about your well being this is your place ! Never again ! Worst customer care ever !!! In other words they don’t care weather you live or die as long as you give them money and the sales person gets his commission. More

He really worked with us and we bought what we wanted at a fair price. His outgoing personality reflects great credit on the company He listened, suggested, and accommodated my wife and I throughout the buying process. I would not hesitate to work with him again. He was kind and being 81 years old, he knows that our buying another vehicle in the distant future seems unlikely. The finance manager, Brad, was accommodating, polite,d and very helpful in completing the paperwork. I cannot say enough complimentary things about him. Mr. Stivers certainly has great staff from the sales, finance, and maintenance personnel. 5 stars and thank you More

I cringe to type this, but I just feel like it needs to be said. More of a janky corner used car lot experience than a legitimate franchise dealer. Inquired about a pre-owned corvette. They stated the be said. More of a janky corner used car lot experience than a legitimate franchise dealer. Inquired about a pre-owned corvette. They stated the car had "been through their service center, inspected top to bottom, and passed without needing a single part or issue addressed" WELL Car had a not just cracked, but physically broken/damaged front bumper, with a large chunk missing dead center in the middle. Huge, unmissable, dead center. Dealer wouldn't replace/repair prior to sale. MORE IMPORTANTLY, car had an unresolved service bulletin, for a faulty valve train, that leads to engine failure. Kind of a big deal. Dealer claimed they were unaware. Ok, well I made them aware. However, when dealer was made aware, they would not get the issue addressed, or compensate price to cover it being addressed. Basically buy their ticking time bomb cracked bumper car, or kick rocks. Not exactly the type of behavior you'd expect from a franchise dealer. Salesman Kyle seemed polite and professional, and genuinely innocent in the shadiness of the matter, even expressing surprise himself at "managements response." More

Me And My Husband Went Around Back, I Noticed My Car Being Detailed So I Asked Is This The Detail Area Or Where Do Y'all Detail At? A Young Man Said "Yes Ma'am Can I Help You With Anything?" So I Said " I Was Just Wondering How Long Will You Be On My Car"? The Young Man Replied "Ma'am As You Can See It's 96° Degrees Out Here Today And It's Draining Me . So My Husband Was Like Hunny "These Guys Don't Even Have Much Room Back Here To Do Anything", It Was About Six Guys Back There Working ,Two Cars Was Being Detail Under A Small Shed Porch And The Guy That Was detailing My Car Was Detailing It In Direct Sunlight!! So Were The Other Guys That Couldn't Escape The Sun, My Husband Asked One Guy " How Do Y'all Keep Cool ?" The Guy Replied (While Sweat Is Dripping From His Face) "Sometime We Have To Leave Customers Cars Running To Keep Cool.It's Very Hard Back Here. The Service Department, Mechanics, Salesman ETC. All Work Comfortable On The Inside. When It's Freezing Cold We Don't Have Anywhere To Keep Warm, When Its 90°+ Weather We Can't Keep Cool As You Both can See". That Really Shocked Me , My Husband And I Went An Bought Those Guys Gatorades And Bottle Waters Because I Feel Like They Deserve Better When Their Working Just As Hard As Anyone Else That Works At Stivers Ford. To Be Working Out In Direct Heat With No Water Fountain And No Where To Keep Warm Or Cool. I Pray It Better For Those Guys!! More
Poor diagnostic skills The WORST service department. So bad i hate that it won't let me leave a zero star review... one star is the lowest. Had 2010 Explorer towed into d The WORST service department. So bad i hate that it won't let me leave a zero star review... one star is the lowest. Had 2010 Explorer towed into dealership because it lost power... engine still running, but did not respond to throttle. They ran diagnostic and said throttle body had gone bad. I paid $950. Two weeks later exact same thing happened so i towed it to them AGAIN and they said the NEW throttle body was a bad part. Sounded strange to me but ok, they put ANOTHER new throttle body on and a few weeks later SAME thing happened. This time i took it to Auburn Ford place and told the service department what was happening and to please do a full diagnostic because apparently Stivers ford in montgomery didn't know what the xxxx they were doing... called me a few days later and said the PCM was bad... throttle body was NEVER the problem. Called stivers ford about my $950 that i spent to replace parts that did not need replacing and was told, after much negotiation, that they would give me $199 credit if i bring it to them again! WHAT A JOKE THIS SERVICE DEPT IS!!! Instead of full diagnostic they just throw parts at it. I had to pay out of pocket towing multiple times and was in dangerous situation with stalling because service dept at stivers is clearly incompetent. Avoid at all costs. More
