Next day, when I went in with a vehicle for possible trade in, I was told there were offers and they wanted $10K over MSRP. It was still available In addition, financing through Stoler was required. I traveled from Beacon, NY, and Bert went above and beyond — from arranging a test drive of the FJ Cruiser to personally picking me up at the train station when it was ready. The car was spotless, came with thoughtful gifts, and Bert’s warm, attentive service made the whole process easy and enjoyable. I recommend him to anyone shopping for a car. More
I recently purchased a vehicle from Stoler Lexus in Long Island, and unfortunately, my experience has been overwhelmingly disappointing, characterized by significant issues in communication, professionalism Island, and unfortunately, my experience has been overwhelmingly disappointing, characterized by significant issues in communication, professionalism, and basic customer service. Initially, I placed and then canceled a deposit because my spouse, who would primarily use the vehicle, was uncertain. I reconsidered after Samantha reached out again, reassuring me explicitly that the car had "no curbing whatsoever" after a thorough inspection. Contrary to this assurance, upon picking up the vehicle, there was noticeable curb damage to one wheel, clearly visible and misrepresented. Furthermore, inconsistencies arose regarding transportation arrangements. While initially promised dealership-provided transportation, Samantha later restricted this offer to specific circumstances, leading to confusion and frustration. Regarding financing, conflicting information was provided. Samantha assured me I could pay off the vehicle after the first or second payment, yet the finance department later insisted a payoff was not possible until six months had passed, complicating my financial arrangements significantly. The vehicle itself was delivered with notable interior issues: smudges, cleanliness concerns, and an unpleasant odor despite assurances that these would be resolved prior to pickup. Additionally, the vehicle was delivered with less than half the promised full charge, with an explanation that a suitable charger could not be located—something never communicated beforehand. The dealership also inadequately handled the registration process, failing to disclose crucial details that, as an active-duty military member relocating to Ohio, would require personal travel for VIN verification—despite having paid associated fees. During a recent visit to submit necessary paperwork and complete the detailing as agreed, Samantha demonstrated unprofessional behavior, including blocking communication attempts and deflecting responsibilities. This forced me to escalate the matter to the sales managers directly. Additionally, interactions with Mara and the General Manager were marked by unprofessional conduct, with the latter unfairly accusing me of disrespect, despite maintaining professionalism throughout. The most troubling aspect remains the unresolved status of my paperwork and registration logistics, compounded by a profound lack of effective support and professional courtesy from the dealership's senior management. If I had anticipated such an unprofessional and frustrating experience, I would not have chosen Stoler Lexus. I share this feedback publicly in the hope that it helps others make informed decisions and encourages the dealership to urgently improve their practices and customer service standards. More
I recently leased a car at Stoler Lexus from David Sung. He was a pleasure to work with. From initial contact to delivery he was great. I recommend him highly. He was a pleasure to work with. From initial contact to delivery he was great. I recommend him highly. More
Stoler Lexus tried to deliver a CPO with a cracked windshield (about 1/4 inch) and malfunctioning seatbelt. The windshield was noted in pdi but not corrected. I arrived to purchase the vehicle and p windshield (about 1/4 inch) and malfunctioning seatbelt. The windshield was noted in pdi but not corrected. I arrived to purchase the vehicle and pointed out the defects. They fixed the items after delivery but they were clearly hoping I would not notice. I probably should have walked away tbh. And despite PDI showing the needed repair, they assured me that their tech missed it. lol. Sure a tech missed crack in the windshield but noted it in the service record...ok guys nice one. If I drive off the lot and come back, even a minute later, 100% they are telling me that is now my responsibility. And it was fairly small and could easily be missed in the excitement of picking up your new car. Caveat emptor if you shop here. Per Lexus, a used car cannot have a cracked windshield or malfunctioning seatbelt and be certified pre-own. Especially seatbelt as a safety issue...but whatever just move the product! Clearly they cut corners here. I almost forgot; during negotiations the finance manager told me they would likely fire the salesman if I didn't take financing b/c it was somehow his fault. As if the salesperson created the advertised price, that doesn't happen. It is just a scummy sales tactic. And to be clear, salesperson was very nice overall. A gentleman to speak to. He did not control any of this. This is stuff that comes directly from management. More
Purchased a Certified 2023 Lexus IS F Sport yesterday. Drivers seat leather/pleather is cracked in places. Front right tire has split/gauge in sidewall and looks like they tried to repair. I have messa Drivers seat leather/pleather is cracked in places. Front right tire has split/gauge in sidewall and looks like they tried to repair. I have messages in for Miguel, Salesperson via text and email to advise. Is this the Stoler type of Certified inspection? The entire purchasing process was a disaster. We came from Ohio and asked that paperwork be ready. We walked in at 4 p.m., walked out at 7 p.m. There were many other issues, but, space is limited. Rich, Business Manager gave incorrect information on out of state DMV info also. I can't imagine the Lexus Dealer that I patronize every providing this poor of service. They need to be written up by Lexus for their tactics. Find a small Lexus Dealership for your vehicle that provides true Lexus service. This is not one of them. I will be happy to update this review once I hear from Stoler regarding my issues. More
I would give them no stars if I could, the used car manager Ray Berrios refused to take a lease return back because he had no room, he said he is not obligated to take back the lease, I have 4 Lexus’s manager Ray Berrios refused to take a lease return back because he had no room, he said he is not obligated to take back the lease, I have 4 Lexus’s that I service their, safe to say I will not be returning to them to service/buy cars. This is not a reputable dealer. We have been coming to this dealer for service for 8 years, every 5k miles. We asked them to do a minor repair that was not done properly. We ende We have been coming to this dealer for service for 8 years, every 5k miles. We asked them to do a minor repair that was not done properly. We ended up using an outside party who did it for half the cost. We explained that to the dealership management who proceeded to blame the victim. It's astonishing that a dealer would lose a loyal customer over a $300 repair, but there are people in this world who still don't get it. This dealer has lost my business forever over $300, you really can't understand what is going through their minds. More
