We had the pleasure of meeting and doing business with Joe Dilegame, Sales Consultant and Phil Marrotta,Pre-Owned Sales Manager. I had never owned a Lexus prior to this purchase and we were looking for the RX 350, in Brandy Wine with black interior. They had one at this dealership. Joe made the purchase of our new vehicle a very comfortable and pleasurable experience. We would recommend his services to any one of our friends. Joe made sure that the car was ready for me when I went to pick it up. He informed us of all the things that we needed to know about the vehicle and made sure that I was comfortable driving it out of the showroom. He set up my first free service appointment and showed me how to keep track of it on the computer. He also made a follow up call the next day to see if I had any questions about my new car. The prep and pick up of the car was made very convient for us by Phil Marrotta, Pre-Owned Sales Manager at Lexus of Massapequa. It was a pleasure doing business with Phil. He was there to make sure that we were satisfied and happy. Both Joe Dilegame and Phil Marrotta are a perfect example of what Lexus stands for - Comfort, Luxury and Dependability. Sales staff were good, but service department is questionable. I bought a 2006 RX330 certified auto with approx 44,000 miles. had car serviced at regular intervals. At last service approx. 64,000 miles, I was informed by service that I needed approx. $3,000 worth of service. All fluids needed to be changed, transmission, power steering, brake, axle, coolant, etc..., they were either dirty or burnt? Tires needed changing, front brakes, alignment, on and on...... . I discussed, not argued this with service rep. and questioned how could a certified auto with only 20,000 miles since delivery need all this work? I was told that these services were only recommended and not required. I told him that I believe if the car was properly certified with all the checks that they were to have done before delivery that these services would not be necessary with the low mileage I put on the car. HE HAD NO REPLY. I understand tires, brakes etc wear out and need replacement, but for all fluid needing replacement is questionable. I have owned other certified Lexus vehicles from another dealer and never experienced this before. I will be looking for another service center. More

Having gone to over 10 dealerships in the past few weeks, I feel that I am in a great position to rate a dealership. From the moment I stepped onto this lot I was attended to so quickly, professionally and h I feel that I am in a great position to rate a dealership. My purchase of a car was seamless and I could not have asked for a better dealership to purchase my car from. Joseph Dilegame was very pleasant and truly honest and honorable. Especially when buying a used car, those are the most important characteristics you can ask for. He not only brought the car over to a mechanic of my choice to be looked over, he made the entire deal a pleasure. He handled every thing from insurance to plates and constantly communicated status to me. I went in there late on a Thursday night and had it inspected by my dealer and everything by 4PM the next day. Most dealerships I dealt with made you pay a fee to take the car to another mechanic and I have also heard just about every line there was over the past few weeks. Additionally, there were no suprises, there were no additional hidden fees when I got the bill of sale. Both Joseph and his boss Phil Marrotta were so kind and professional through the entire process. I would recommend this dealer to any one and I would definitely use them again. This is our first Lexus and our first time leasing, we had already gone to a North Shore Lexus dealer and found them to be a high stress sales pitch not in our favor, when going to Lexus in Massapequa Ben had already gone to a North Shore Lexus dealer and found them to be a high stress sales pitch not in our favor, when going to Lexus in Massapequa Benny was a straight shooter willing to work with us not against us, he was down to earth and friendly as was Robin. Robin was very thorough and professional in her car delivery and Steve in finance was equally professional and helpful. Buying a car is hard enough since car dealers are looking to make the most profit margin and the customer is looking for the least, I feel Lexus of Massapequa was great to work with and I feel I got a great product at a reasonably price. My wife and I have have had perfect credit for the past 25 years, but recently like many people we have fallen on hard times. I understand that credit scores determine rates but I think that my 25 years of credit weigh more than my past 2 years. I was about to give up when I called Lexus of Masapequa. I asked to speak with a person in charge of Loans. I got a gentleman named Steven Pettito. He assured me that Lexus is nothing like other dealers (here is where I was skeptical). I gave him all my information over the phone, I was embarrassed here first. Other dealers would not even take my calls, and if they did they would say, "well come in and we will see what we can do with your credit". Steven took all my info, and asked for certin private information that he assursed me was for the bank eyes only as well as his. Normally I would not trust someone over the phone but Steven was they only one who was welling to help. I am proud to say that not only is my wife driving her new Lexus, I got a great rate. Other dealers when I told them my credit score over the phone told me my rates would be over 15%. Steven got me 1.9%. Steven also introduced me to a sales person who would go over the car with me, his name was Salmon. He was very knowledgeable and made my wife very happy with our car choice. Steven Pettito has made a confedenit consumer again and made me think not all cars guys are the same. Steven will have a customer for life with my wife and I. More

I can't describe how helpful and friendly Bert was. There was never any pressure to buy.The entire staff at Lexus of Massapequa was friendly upon walking in.THEY DIDN'T IGNORE US LIKE OTHER SHOWROOMS. We were interested in the es350, but Bert also suggested we test drive the hs hybrid and showed us the differences with both.Even though we bought the es, we were a more informed consumer. Throughout the entire process, Bert walked us through everything,set up our car to our specs, and has called us to ensure everything was o.k.. Blaise was the finance manager and again showed us all our options and got us the best A.P.R. Anyone buying a new vehicle, especially a Lexus - GO TO BERT AND LEXUS OF MASSAPEQUA. The only "glitch" came after the sale; I was transferring plates from my old car, but they forgot to do it. Dave noticed it when he moved my car, and called; he offered (and I accepted) to come over and put the plates on. Problem quickly solved. As he noted, it was his first sale, and he'll never make that mistake again! Both the Sales Manager and the Business Manager were likewise friendly and knowledgeable. This was the fourth Lexus we have bought from this dealership (my wife bought hers after an initial lease, and this is my third lease), and we have found both sales and service to be terrific. Last Saturday I visited with Mercedes, Infiniti and Acura, test drove their cars, and was convinced I would end up buying the Mercedes C-Class. As I was driving home, I saw your dealership and said to myself, I should at least sit in a Lexus as I have never been in one. I met with Salman Umar, who I will tell you is probably one of the best sales people I have ever met. He made me feel comfortable, never pressured me, asked me about what my needs were in buying a new car. I have NEVER had a sales person ask me what my needs were in buying a new car, it was the best thing he could have asked me (am I looking for comfort, am I looking for a specific style, how many people do I need to transport, etc.) He walked me through the pros and cons of each vehicle based on my specific needs (for example I do a lot of winter driving and getting a used Lexus with rear wheel drive would probably be a mistake). His professionalism, attention to detail and approach opened my eyes to how perfect the Lexus ES was for me and my family. Not only did Salman earn a sale for the day, he earned a new customer for life. I also appreciated the approach of Larry Smath in Finance. Larry took a "no pressure" approach, reviewed the options with me, he did an excellent job of making be feel comfortable and also made the credit application process very easy.
