I made it maybe 3 weeks before my oil light came on and took it to get my oil changed. 1 day later, it is on again. I take it to a weekend mechanic and he adds FIVE quartz of oil. Two days after, the light is on.. AGAIN. I take it so another shop who gives me a technical service bulletin that SOA put out that my particular car (plus many other subaru models) have excessive oil consumption, only the warranty is for 100k miles/8 years. Subaru sold it to me with 125k miles so automatically the warranty is expired for me. I take it to Subaru and inform them of this and they change my oil and add dye to see if there's a leak and not even two days after my car completely breaks down on the freeway leading me to have it towed for a lot of money. Subaru director and GM continuously called me a Liar and said the car is fine for days so I finally have a subaru mechanic go on a test drive with me. we do not make it more an 1 mile before it stalls out and breaks down with the tech inside the car with me. The engine light comes on, plus so many other lights and I lose power and control of the car. They looked with the black light and there is no oil leaks to be found. We make it back to Subaru dealer where they tech vouches for me and I only get silence. The director of Service dept completely disappears and refuses to take my calls or meet with me. I speak with the GM who said there is nothing they can do because it was sold 'as is', which I understand but there is NO ownership of the problems. I was sold a car that DOES NOT WORK. The only option I was given was an up-trade Honda Civic with 118k miles for $15k. I bought my original Impreza for $10k so I'm understanding they are trying to play me again. They said I can take their Civic or replace the engine for $8k-10k out of my pocket. Subaru has taken no ownership for anything and refuses to help in any way. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND SUBARU TO ANYONE. This has been the worst experience of my life and I plan to spread the word about this miserable service for as long as I can. More
They could do better. I was really prepared to write a very scathing review of Subaru Antelope Valley. However, I decided to temper my criticism (just a bit) only because I think the service department is decent and they try to do the best they can with the product they have. That said, dealing with the dealership and issues with the Subaru I’m leasing has left me so sour that I cannot recommend Subaru Antelope Valley, or Subaru cars in general, to anyone. In regards to Subaru Antelope Valley, when you walk out on them and then they call you the very next day and say they are willing to give you the deal you wanted in the first place, make sure it really is the deal you wanted before making that long drive back to the dealership. Second, if they offer you incentives to purchase the maintenance package, make sure you get it in writing so there’s no “misunderstanding”. In regards to Subaru cars, I didn’t expect to have A/C and audio issues with just over 4000 miles on the car. It took 2 long, hot trips and a month to finally get the car back. Again, I don’t blame the service department but the product itself. So I finally got the car back but something seems to be wrong with the clock. Whether its broken or the interface is simply not user friendly enough, it’s just xxxx annoying when your car doesn’t give the right time. More

Pedro Meza made the experience easy and stress free. This was my first time buying a car and he was so helpful going over everything. My mom's friend who has been leasing cars for several years went with us and he was even impressed with the service and lease package deal given to me. The dealership closed at 9:00pm and we got there at 7:00pm and didn't leave until 11:30pm. Pedro was even kind enough to go over everything in the car and set my phone up in my car. He even went above and beyond and texted me the next day checking to see if we made it home safely and if I had any questions. I would 100% recommend this dealership and Pedro Meza. More

Brandon Morgan communicated with me via email in a direct and very professional manner. He actually read my emails and answered all my questions succinctly. My experience started with Scott Fly who presented a friendly and unpressured environment for my test drive. He went the extra mile to find me a manual transmission BRZ to test. He was even willing to move the Yellow Series from the Showroom floor to make this possible. I was introduced to manager Wes Shalhla who remembered me when I showed up to process my lease. I never experienced the usual smarmy sales person routine. Kudos to AV Subaru for creating a sales environment that didn't get under my skin. Surprisingly even the Finance Department made their process enjoyable. Joe W More

No pressure, just straightforward answers, extremely patient and knowledgable throughout the process. Everything Brandon said he would do, he did. He really made the leasing process quick and painless. Finance department was great too. We did most of the back and forth on the phone and were probably at the dealership barely an hour. Even if you are in LA, which we are, I encourage you to consider them. It's worth it. Great experience! More

The second time on July 10, (a Shame on you, Antelope Valley repaired the front, right and left cv boots twice: The first time, on November 14, 2014. The second time on July 10, (at no charge to me) due to failure of initial repair. The third repair was completed by AAMCO on August 4, 2015, due to another failure of the front cv boots. I incurred expenses as a result of the cost to repair the front cv boots by another repair shop. After paying for all of the expenses we incurred: towing, car rental, estimate from Galpin Subaru, and repair cost paid to AAMCO, I returned to Antelope Valley Subaru and spoke to David Boyle, service manager. I explained that our car broke down on the freeway, and we were towed into Galpin Subaru for repairs, had to rent a car. and pay AAMCO for repairing my Subaru. David apologized and asked what they [AV Subaru], needed to do to make it right. I explained that all I wanted was to be reimbursed for the expenses we incurred. He said he would speak to his manager. When my wife, Diane, picked up the Subaru later that afternoon, she was told, the dealer would reimburse all but the $115, that Galpin Subaru invoiced for their diagnostic estimate. After hearing this news from my wife, I spoke to David, explaining that I shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes or defective parts. I requested to be paid the $115 due to me and I was told no. Too bad, after owning nine Subaru's, we just bought a Hyundai. More
