Service is confusing. I have been using the Service at Mastro for over 5 years. I go solely for the free oil changes. I always am advised that an expense extra service is I have been using the Service at Mastro for over 5 years. I go solely for the free oil changes. I always am advised that an expense extra service is needed. I always take the car afterwards to my own certified mechanic. Most of the time the suggested service is not needed. When it is needed my mechanic does the repair at 15 - 205 less cost. So far no problems with my mechanics work. We are talking over 5 years now. My oil light comes on between changes at about 3K miles. This problem has been going on fro 5 years. It is always at least a quart low. Mastro Service has done many consumption tests and replaced parts, to no avail. On my last visit I was told and showed in the manual this was normal. Why wasn't I told this 150K miles and many visits ago? Why dosen't this happen with the other two Subarus in my family? My Forester 30K mile service cost $50 more than my daughters 30K mile service for her same year CrossTRek? The service was the same. Truly disappointed with the Forester perfrormance and service. Mastro Subaru - Sanford Sales and Service I bought my 2015 Impreza 5M 4 door at Mastro, wheree it was a factory order due to the rarity of a stick base model. No hitches, no problems. I have always received excellent service (and free oil changes for life!) at Mastro, and when I was sideswiped while taking my car in for a recent oil change, I was given excellent advice on how to deal with insurance and collision repair. Plus I got a courtesy car wash, which immediately made the damage look less ruinous and possibly helped me get a more accurate repair estimate. They go the extra mile to take care of customers. Yeah, I like the AWD for traction, even though the car has not yet seen dirt, snow or sand! More

First Service Brought our car back to the dealership for its first service. We purchased a 2008 Mercedes CLK350 in April of 2016. We were told that as part of the sale we would receive free oil changes. We split out time between R.I. And Florida so I was not sure how that service promise would be received. The service people were great. There was never any question as to the service and I requested that they use Mobil 1 and again there was no questions asked. When we went to pick up the car I asked if they were able to reset the maintenance minder and the service advisor looked up the procedure and took it to the tech and they reset it. On a Mercedes it is not the easiest of tasks, but they did it with no problems. Before we actually picked up the car we went into the sales to say hello to Francis our salesman and were literally greeted with open arms. Had a good chat with him then we went on our way. All I can say is if you are looking for a car either new our used give Mastro Subaru a chance. You might not buy from them, however you will see how a dealership treats their customers. It will be difficult to match their approach. More

However, I'm awarding them two stars for the following reasons listed in order of increasing significance 1. At the end of a two-hour service appointment, they offered a complimentary car wash. They said it would be 15 minutes. I agreed. 40 minutes later, I'm trying to get the keys to my car. I would've declined if I had known it would have taken so long. Not a big deal. 2. I purchased a tire from them. They said it would take 2-3 days for the tire to arrive. It took 6. A slightly bigger deal. 3. After having my tire replaced, I picked up my Subaru from the dealership. I immediately noticed that my car was pulling to the right - which it was not doing prior to bringing in my car. I called them to let them know. They said they would take care of it, but it would take over an hour to fix it. As such, it made sense for me to wait a month for my 12,000 mile checkup in order to have all of the work done at the same time. However, they did not put any of this in their notes. So by the time I was having my alignment fixed during this 12,000 mile checkup, they forgot entirely about what had happened the previous month. They tried taking away the one alignment repair covered under my insurance. When I protested and reminded them about past events, a higher-up at Mastro came out and effectively tried to guilt trip me about my actions. He said that by not using this alignment repair covered by my insurance, I would be depriving his mechanic of being paid. I kept my mouth shut, and he eventually acquiesced and took care of my alignment for free (which they had agreed to originally the month prior). One of the few truly terrible customer service experiences I've had in my life. This is my first review I've written about anything. I will never go to Mastro Sanford again. More

Over 4 years ago, I followed Kelly from another Subaru dealership to Mastro and bought my Legacy new October 2010. I love the car and regular maintenance has paid off - no problems with the car ever. When I bought my Forrester, the sales person really bragged on the service team and emphasized there would be a "relationship" with them. I really didn't know what that meant until I started bringing my vehicle in for routine service. Jay is always very kind, professional and accommodating. He is knowledgeable of the vehicles and can always give an informed answer to my questions. After my warranty expired, it was very tempting to seek service elsewhere as I have always done. There's really no reason for me to go anywhere else. A price cannot be placed on peace of mind. Thank you Jay for always going above and beyond my expectation. Renee More
