Bait and switch I have been in communication with Subaru of Pembroke Pines in South Florida with the General Manager, Duane Massa and I am highly unpleased. The misco I have been in communication with Subaru of Pembroke Pines in South Florida with the General Manager, Duane Massa and I am highly unpleased. The miscommunication and lack of professionalism with management and the sales staff is unreasonable. I recently changed my car from Lexus to Subaru and had one month left on my lease with Lexus. I was told by two Subaru employees that my last month with Lexus would be paid if I accelerated on a new lease with Subaru at that very moment, however, this was a bait and switch move and they never placed this in my contract. I went in to speak with Duane Massa and even after having written proof through text message that his employee explained to me that his superior had approved to include the last month of my Lexus payment ($402.76), he still did not make any efforts to make this right for me. Subaru has been extremely unhelpful throughout this process. They give me the run around every time I speak to an employee. I hope no one ever has to have their new car experience ruined by these people the way that Subaru ruined it for me. I will never do business with Subaru again and regret ever leaving Lexus in the first place and stepping foot into this dealership. More

Restored my faith in Pembroke Pines Subaru When I bought my Crosstrek in Jan 2019, my salesperson Bryan Medina was amazing., as was the finance manager and the insurance person. Then when I wen When I bought my Crosstrek in Jan 2019, my salesperson Bryan Medina was amazing., as was the finance manager and the insurance person. Then when I went back a day or two later for the encore presentation, I was extremely disappointed. The young girl explaining to me did it so quickly that I really did not get it. I know I am 66 and need a little more time to process but she needed to make sure I understood what she was explaining- perhaps say- " let me see you do it" . When training personnel for this job, you need to remind them that there are many baby boomers buying Subaru- it is all over AARP and they need to be patient and realize that we did not grow up with digital technology. It really was not totally her fault- they need to be trained properly. Today when I went back for the first service, Steve Ross was my advisor and he was so pleasant and patient. He explained everything that I asked. Thank you to all the the guys who helped me- you were very kind, knowledgeable and patient. More

The man is simply amazing! You guys (Subaru) should be counting their lucky stars that Joe is part of that service team. Don't get me wrong, the rest of the service team is good, but Joe, is unique. I have been visiting this dealership for over 3 years and I know that Joe will always have my back no matter what. This was further demonstrated two days ago. I had an emergency with the vehicle I leased (2018 Impreza), as the car would literally shut off while driving. Yes, you read that right. Luckily this did not occur while we were driving on the highway. Regardless, I took the vehicle (unannounced - given the severity of the issue) and Joe stopped what he was doing to take care of me. I explained to him what was going on with the vehicle and he immediately sprung into action... This is why I began this review stating, "...the only reason I keep going back to Subaru of Pembroke Pines Service Department could be summed up with three words, Joseph "Joe" Salerno. Having a seasoned, competent, and mature staff is a major component to the success of any organization. And I truly hope that Subaru of Pembroke Pines takes the time to appreciate the hard work and dedication that Joe has demonstrated with me and frankly, all of the other customers he has helped.
