I found a screw in my tire. Bummer. I drove to my "go to dealer", Subaru of El Cajon, where I was immediately met in the service lane. The advisor, Sam, was able to get the car Bummer. The advisor, Sam, was able to get the car seen in a timely manner where it was determined that the screw had not penetrated the tread. This is the second time I've had to have service done without an appointment and on both occasions I've experienced professional, friendly, expedited service with the offer of a courtesy car wash. I used to drive across the city to come to this dealership. My regular technician, Angel, was the most helpful and sincere person I have worked with before. After arriving today, I find out he is n dealership. My regular technician, Angel, was the most helpful and sincere person I have worked with before. After arriving today, I find out he is no longer working for subaru of El Cajon and I have a new technician. My new technician seemed okay, but kept belittling me when I brought up my car issues. I have now been waiting 4 hours for them to check my car. But when I brought this up to Ray, he said the appointment time was when we check in with technicians not when they work on the car… instead of just apologizing and taking accountability I have been thrown excuses as to why it’s my fault I have to wait so long. Keep in mind I already had an appointment and already know the issue with my car that I’m asking for them to quickly fix. It’s so sad to see how quickly downhill dealerships can go but I will not be returning to Subaru of El Cajon for the foreseeable future. There are way too many trusted mechanics and other reputable subaru dealerships in San Diego and much closer to me. Please DO NOT come here if you don’t want to wait all day just to get a call back… UPDATE: they were never able to even fix the axles which I had come in to get changed. After a whole day of waiting around the dealership and only for them to tell me what I already knew was wrong with it. I am quite livid and holding back a lot of what I wish I could say. I understand it gets busy, but I had an appointment already AND it seems insane they can’t even check my car within the first 4 hours of me dropping it off. It’s bad. More

Made appointment over the phone and I was accommodated the next day. The service staff are friendly and seem to be hardworking. Angel was attending another customer when I got in, but another service staf the next day. The service staff are friendly and seem to be hardworking.
