Kevin was just super sweet and kept his promise to ensure we left happy, he was very welcoming. Joe was great he was detailed informative and he ensured to meet our needs. The location Is well organized and clean. Prior to walking into the SUN GMC In Wantagh I was already planning to check other dealers. After the overall experience there was no was no need to look further. I left with a vehicle that is well equipped for my son from safety comfort and awesome options for a great price. I will be returning and trading in my competitor vehicle into SUN in Wantagh . I most definitely would refer friends and family. I'm not big on writing reviews however this location definitely deserves my time. When you want to feel like more than just a dollar sign!! This was the most upfront and professional dealership I have ever done business with. This coming from a man who everyone else calls to go help them p This was the most upfront and professional dealership I have ever done business with. This coming from a man who everyone else calls to go help them pick out a car. My wife and mom and sisters as well as myself are responsible for at least 20 different Auto dealership transactions and I have been to all different brands and multiple dealerships in same brand to get the right deal on the right car. If you think that all leases and prices are the same along brand lines you are so wrong. These guy were the 3rd dealership I had been to for my 2018 GMC Terrain and was almost going to change my mind on the truck I was getting. That’s how bad of a taste I had in my mouth after leaving the other 2 GMC dealers. I was talked into going to one more by my wife. I live in Queens and was out in Rockville Centre at this point and had been treated like such a sucker that I was done with GMC as a brand. They were trying to change around numbers on a car that I had done the math on. I was very well aware of what I was supposed to be paying for. I do my homework and I am not someone who just sees a commercial and thinks the price on TV is what I should pay and not a penny more! I understand that there are extras that aren’t priced in and other things but I am knowledgeable about the process. Even after hearing and telling them all this the dealership in Rockville Centre still wanted to play games. (They ended up calling me the next day trying to get me to come back saying they had “talked to the manager and gotten me a better price”)When I walked into Sun they welcomed me and were as upfront and helpful as any dealership I had EVER been to. When Andrew sat down with me he was straightforward and I appreciated that. He gave me a bottom line price. Told me where I could shave a few bucks off the MSRP and gave me side by side comparisons on different levels and trims of the truck I wanted. Talked to me about what was important to us and what we were willing to do without and found us a truck with options we’d have done without for $80/month less than the stripped down bare bones model the other dealership was trying to push on me. All the money down and offers were exactly what they should be. (Also far less than the Rockville Centre money down offer). No “Checking with the Manager” or any other games. When Andrew was finalizing with the manager Kevin (who was awesome by the way) he actually got us another $10 off the monthly lease. They were all Rock Stars. Everything we all wish dealerships could be. Kevin the manager thanked us and sat and talked and joked with us for a while and actually called me and my wife by name the next day when I saw him as I was walking in to pick up the truck. I felt as though they cared and the reason I felt that way is because they do. They were not just really good actors or just faking it. They are really just those types of people and it makes all the difference. The price is always going to be the main thing that makes our ultimate decision but for me things like that make the difference. That’s what will make me drive past 2 closer dealerships and not go to the other ones that might be closer to me in Queens somewhere. For me I would always go to them now. That’s the difference. They didn’t sell a car. They made me a loyal customer. I already have made a few referrals to people on their behalf. They restored my faith in GMC. More
