My uncle and I bought a truck from Sunstate Ford less than a month ago. Of course, they were helpful whenever we bought the truck, considering that it is over $80,000 F-350 Platinum. The day we took the truck we got only one fob and the salesman said that we will get the second fob later because he cannot find it, I even have it on a text message. I didn't think it'a a big deal as long as they would get it for us within a week or so.
I checked with the salesman a few days ago about the fob and all he had to say is that they cannot get me another fob and that's the end of it. These fobs that have remote start, open the tailgate etc are pretty expensive and I have to pay for that now?
I emailed the general manager to resolve my issue, and never heard back from her. The salesman ignores me now after we paid close to $90,000 with all the warranties we got.
Another thing this dealership does, the sell you warranties that are not even Ford warranties. Could be nice to disclose that upfront.
This is by far the worst experience I had. A week after my uncle bought the truck I purchased a Mustang GT from the Ford dealership in Davenport FL which was a whole lot different from Sunstate.
I will contact Ford Motor to see if they can help us get what we paid for.
