Instead of taking responsibility or working toward a fair solution, I was told that I had caused the problem by driving with the parking brake engaged. I completely dispute that explanation. I asked to cancel the sale and receive a refund, but my request was denied. I was then asked to leave the dealership. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled and with the level of customer service I received. I am pursuing this matter through the appropriate legal and consumer protection channels. My advice to anyone buying a used vehicle is to get a complete independent mechanical inspection before purchasing, even if the vehicle is being sold by a dealership. More
