I used a couple of shopping services (Consumer Reports & Costco) and had bids from two nearby dealers. I made an appointment after receiving Hopkin’s bid and had a nice, discussion with Jay — no pressure. I went back the next day and drove the car. Jay gave me a very good overview of the car (an Accord) and boy, have things changed in cars! An overview of the newer cars was absolutely necessary and they gave me all the details I needed. I went back a day or so later and discussed price — they met the other bid. I went back again with my bank check and drove my new car home. Jay spent at least another hour going over the car’s function with me and my wife; most generous with his time. Do your homework before you visit any dealership so the discussion can go smoothly. These guys were great! More

My wife finally talked me into stopping at Larry Hopkins Honda to check out the Ridgeline, I stepped out of the car to an awaiting salesman who introduced himself as Felix el Gato and I busted up laughing. In 2 minutes I felt like I’ve known him for years. Wasn’t like other salesman, answered my questions, but didn’t push me to buy the car. Asked me if I liked to drive the vehicle and when I returned he asked what other cars I was interested in so I told him. He told me to go and test drive the Toyota and jeep and then come back and talk to him. I did what he said and came back and bought the Honda. Everything he said was true, and bought it that day. His friend who works with him (he referred to him as the Doctor and he knew everything there is about the vehicle and quickly went over it with me.
