I'm beyond happy that I chose to deal with Sunrise Toyota in searching for my new car. My older vehicle was starting to show signs that I would have to start dumping money into it, so I knew it was time to s in searching for my new car. I knew that I wanted a smaller SUV, and knowing how the vehicle market is now, I was hesitant. I was recommended by a very good work acquaintance to come in to Sunrise Toyota, and they had Eric Chandler give me a call. I searched their inventory online and saw they had an almost brand new 2021 CHR that was exactly what I was looking for. Eric worked with me to send me additional photos, prep that car, and have everything ready for me when I came in for an appointment the following day as I was traveling from Queens NY. Eric truly made this process so smooth, and I am so glad I had him to help me through it all. He answered all of my questions, was patient during the test drive, and made me comfortable that I was making the right choice with this car. Once I did make the decision to take the car, Mike Coltilino made the paperwork process so smooth, I never expected to be done with things in under 2 hours, I really expected to spend almost all day there. I had some major issues with how everything was handled (at first) by this dealership. From the financing guy, concerning missing gap coverage and giving me a shorter extended warranty then what I was told (at first) by this dealership. I originally gave a 2 star review, as everyone was super friendly, but the rest of my experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I called the dealership and spoke with several people about my concerns, but I didn't know I didn't speak with the head honcho manager Bruce. Bruce fixed everything possible, going above and beyond doing what he could to make me happy. I was disappointed how others treated my issues, ( I did call like 8 times in one day) I wish I spoke with Bruce before I stressed out about the issues I had. He was a professional person that got things done. Because of him the bad taste was washed from my mouth. I can tell you this, the dealership is run by a very honorable man. If you have an issue no one else is helping you with, go to the top. Bruce is the type of guy that makes you want to go back and buy your next car from the same dealer. No more buyer beware! More

I wanted a white RAV 4 hybrid. None were available last year, but none were to be found in the area although Sue Thomas searched high and low. My daughter, who lives in Indiana and follows Indy 500 raci year, but none were to be found in the area although Sue Thomas searched high and low. My daughter, who lives in Indiana and follows Indy 500 racing put us in touch with the Penskes who located one of 6 in the US in Muncie where we purchased it from Toyota of Muncie (excellent dealer). We brought it to Sunrise for service, which was excellent. When we had a problem with the lane keeping assist, Ray, the technician, discussed the problem with Toyota engineers and arranged for a replacement steering rack which apparently is packed with electronics and a computer. Sunrise is my ideal dealer, unlike Atlantic Auto Group (Advantage Toyota, South Shore Hyundai) which charges to even check a car for a manufacturer's defect). Finally, last but not least, Linda Garelli, the service manager can't be beat. More

He was very friendly and pro. Competitive price compared to other dealerships with reasonable fees/charges. Good location where you can easily have a relaxed test drive in the neighborhood or highway. I couldn't find such a location in many other leaderships in Long Island or NYC. I definitely suggest confirming the APR interest rate at the beginning in case you wanna finance there. More

There was no “hard sell” used at all.After I had decided to purchase,I told them that my time was short, they rushed the process as quickly as possible. I came back a few times after I purchased the car because I couldn’t figure out some of the electronic display, Kevin came in ON HIS DAY OFF to help me! He also called over another sales consultant (Justin Lavery) to help me connect my phone texting system to the car’s system. Justin, after spending a good 15 minutes “playing” with my phone and the car, was successful in linking them together. Michael Coltellino, a sales consultant, helped with the paperwork to make sure that everything from the title transfer, insurance transfer and the financing went as smoothly as anyone could want. I know from experience (my last car was also a Toyota that I had purchased there) that the service department is first rate. I highly recommend this dealership and all of the staff that I have mentioned. I have no doubt that the rest of the staff are just as good as the people that I have dealt with. More
