Sunrise Ford Volkswagen is the latest addition to the Sunrise Ford family business which has been a fixture in St. Lucie County since 1932. Like Sunrise Ford, Sunrise Volkswagen has a staff of certified sales and service personnel providing hometown customer service. Salesperson was nice. However, the dealer had already added on optional services. They loaded on a ton of fees on top of the sales price. Worthless paint and interior protection that I did not want. LoJack was already added. The car was for my son and he like it so I bought it. However, this will be the last car I buy from this dealership. To be clear, my salesperson was very helpful. My issue is with the dealership and the way they structure their fees. Your give no option to select the add ons. They’re already there. I have never had this happen with any other dealership I’ve bought from. I usually buy at least one car per year. This is the first time in my 30 years of buying cars saying I’ll never go back to a dealership again. If the salesman moves to a more reputable place, I’d gladly buy from him again. The five star rating is for the salesman. I’d give the dealership 2 stars at best. More
