Saved the day! Started out the day with a dead battery and was hoping the folks at Sunshine could get me in and taken care of that afternoon. Neal was great! Not only did he fix me up in under an hour without an appointment, but he gave me options that were better than the Service Special that I saw on their website. Pathetic! I was told that I couldn’t have a loaner car due to their lack of surveys received- what????? My service plan said that I am entitled to one. Was tol I was told that I couldn’t have a loaner car due to their lack of surveys received- what????? My service plan said that I am entitled to one. Was told that I needed 4 tires- took the car to Firestone what said “no” two will do. They wAnted me to spend another $700 in “routine maintenance “- NO! They don’t even bring your car to you- just hand the keys to you , point to an area and say” it’s out there”. I hate doing business with this dealer- RUN AWAY! More

Got sold a faulty car I purchased a 2012 Subaru Legacy from Sunshine on April 22, 2019. All seemed well for the first 1100 miles. After that I had flashing lights on my das I purchased a 2012 Subaru Legacy from Sunshine on April 22, 2019. All seemed well for the first 1100 miles. After that I had flashing lights on my dash. I notified the dealership and scheduled a service. Took the car and was told that they cannot go into the electronics of the car because they know nothing about Subaru's. First of all why sale cars that you are not certified to work on or have no knowledge of. I was told that my injectors needed cleaned, well I told them to proceed. May I remind you that I told them the lights have went off and on three times and I have told them twice at this point. Take the car home and a week later the lights are back on, two days later the temperature light is flashing which means the car is close to overheating. I get the car home and check under the hood and the service department didn't even put my overflow tank cap back on!! So now my car is at risk of over heating because the service department lost my cap. Also, the main person I dealt with in the service department was Neil and he was extremely rude. They way he talks to people is not professional and degrading. As if the common person is dumb. Another problem I have had is that on my loan app, the amount financed for is $1,500 MORE than what the car cost!!!!!!!!!! I have called multiple times and every time I get the answer that the financial person I need to talk to is not in the office. This was my first car purchase from a dealer and it has been the absolute WORST experience of my life!!!!!!! I will never purchase from this dealer ever again!!!!! Also, this has all happened within 5 weeks, I haven't even paid my first payment yet. This dealership does not stand behind their cars at all. More
Unclear, Unhelpful, Overpriced I've used the Sunshine service center since I bought my care about three years ago and have had mediocre experiences the entire time, but the most rec I've used the Sunshine service center since I bought my care about three years ago and have had mediocre experiences the entire time, but the most recent experience was by far the worst. Someone I had never seen before was working the desk when I walked in, it took him longer than was reasonable to find my appointment in the system which I had set up nearly a week in advance, and he was dismissive and uncaring about the whole exchange. The service provided was average at best but what really bothered me was the uncommunicated increase in the pricing. I was barely able to afford what I had budgeted for based on previous service appointments and when I arrived I mentioned that I needed a regular appointment with a state inspection and was only told that if they did the full 30,000 mile service it would be ~$375 which is outrageous on its own but not only that, when I stated I wouldn't be able to afford that he didn't offer any kind of assitance or alternate options and instead just shunted me to a standard appointment (which I had requested in the first place) but didn't mention that it would cost me nearly DOUBLE what I had previously paid. My car is supposed to be washed any time I bring it into the dealer per the information I was given when I purchased and this did not occur either. At the end of the appointment, I presented a voucher I had redeemed through MyChevrolet Rewards and he took an extra 5 minutes to get this entered despite it being immediately visible on my phone's screen, I even pointed out the exact voucher number but was still asked if I had 'cycled it through to a voucher' despite the information provided. The whole experience felt disrespectful, and that's not even taking into account that my 'Service Contract' I've been paying for on my loan since day one has apparently not applied in any way depsite the fact that I was told it would cover two appointments per year and it has not done so since the first year. Obviously, Sunshine's Service department doesn't actually care about its customers, and that has become increasingly clear over time. I will absolutely NOT be returning. More
