I'd like to tell you about that experience and why I would buy from this dealership again. I purchased this car through the Costco Auto program. Toyota 101 is a participating dealer. I used this service because the new / used car market is insane right now (2022) and I didn't want to pay a $10-20K dealer markup for a 4Runner, a popular vehicle. The Costco option guarantees a purchase at the MSRP and no markup. I was uncomfortable with the idea of waiving my option of negotiating a lower price but given the trend of higher and higher prices with dwindling supply and the premium vehicles going to the highest bidder, this arrangement turned out to be a better deal than I initially realized. The salesman who helped me was Mr. Adam Raines. Mr. Raines knows his trade! He told me how long it would likely take to receive my truck (4 months, to the day) and kept me posted on developments. There were no surprises. Mr. Raines patiently answered my questions and made this process smooth and effortless. My wife and I were on a tight schedule but we had opted for extras that needed to be added to the truck. Mr. Raines coordinated the work and everyone pulled together to get us out and on the road, right on schedule. This was a professionally run dealership and Mr. Raines was very efficient. The 4Runner was perfect. Mr. Raines secured the truck I wanted and at a price far less than what I would have paid otherwise. I bought my slightly used Toyota Corolla Hybrid at Toyota 101. (Unlike other dealers, they are not marking up the MSRP on the new ones, BTW!) They were much more interested in working with me than the Toyota Dealer in Burlingame, which barely gave me the time of day! We worked with Jorge (George) Ocampo and it was a real pleasure. No high pressure. Very patient. We started the transaction on a Sunday and since the credit bureaus couldn't help me on a Sunday, Jorge and Adam found a way to make it all work for the next day! Also when my schedule changed and I wanted to pick up my car 2 days earlier than originally planned, they made it happen. Jorge even helped me on his day off!
