Been a customer of Tacoma Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for over 25 years. Service department is very good! The service advisors are excellent and they will work with 3rd party vehicle service contracts. Where Tacoma Dodge Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram struggles is service loaners when the work being done is under warranty. Had a leaking sunroof that was covered under warranty because they had replaced it less than a year earlier. They needed to keep my truck for 4 days to fix it a second time but no loaner was provided. Other dealerships provide a complimentary loaner car when your vehicle is in for repairs for more than 24 hours. Sales…I would give them zero stars if able. As I said at the beginning, I’ve been a loyal customer to Tacoma Ram for 25+ years. My current truck is a 2018 Laramie Crew Cab, 6 1/2’ bed. I had a steady check engine light that had come on that morning. Tacoma Ram did an appraisal and they offered me 5K less than what other dealerships offered. Tacoma Ram’s reply was “Of course they're going to offer more for the trade. Other dealerships are not going to match a 12% off MSRP.” The 12% is a national incentive, so Tacoma Ram was just trying to gouge me. And…other dealerships are offering significant discounts below MSRP. Tacoma Ram did reach out and they increased their trade-in offer by an additional 3.5K, still $1000 below what other dealerships offered. The annoying part of the follow-up offer is they made it seem like they were doing me a huge favor. Bottom line - Service department is very good, but no service loaners. Sales isn’t interested in keeping local customers. I’d go elsewhere if you are looking for a Ram truck. More
