I have worked with Tamiami Ford for many years and would not deal with any other dealership whether for service or purchasing a new vehicle. Buying my latest car, the 2012 Escape a few weeks ago was no exception. It began with an interest in what was important to me down to showing me several cars, signing the papers and going over all the features. I had never had the phone feature before and Sean took the time to set up everything and explain the Sirius radio also. The "battery light" and the "Check Charging System" came on and I measured the voltage 16 plus volts. The next day I took the 01 Windstar to Tamiami Ford; the car checked out normal so Charging System" came on and I measured the voltage 16 plus volts. The next day I took the 01 Windstar to Tamiami Ford; the car checked out normal so I went home with no action (I understand an intermittent problem that can not be repeated.) The next day the "battery light" and the "Check Charging System" came on and I measured the voltage 16 plus volts. I drove to Tamiami Ford and did not turn the car off. Since Jeff was busy, Jose started the paper work and verified that the car was indeed acting as I said. The decision was made to replace the alternator under warranty at no additional cost.
