The "battery light" and the "Check Charging System" came on and I measured the voltage 16 plus volts. The next day I took the 01 Windstar to Tamiami Ford; the car checked out normal so Charging System" came on and I measured the voltage 16 plus volts. The next day the "battery light" and the "Check Charging System" came on and I measured the voltage 16 plus volts. I drove to Tamiami Ford and did not turn the car off. Since Jeff was busy, Jose started the paper work and verified that the car was indeed acting as I said. The decision was made to replace the alternator under warranty at no additional cost. I had a problem with a clip that broke on my 2012 Ford Mustang. The service rep stated Ford declined to fix it. I stated since it is under warranty; this should be fixed without me paying out of pocket Mustang. The service rep stated Ford declined to fix it. I spoke to the Service Manager, his boss, and I sent an email to you stating the problem; and nothing got resolved to my satisfaction. Then I called Ford Customer Service for help, and the same result, no reimbursement for what I spent to have the clips/covers replaced. I then sent a letter to Ford Corporate Board of Directors; and opened a case with the Better Business Bureau; sent BBB all of the documentation. The end result is Ford agreed to reimburse me for the money I had to shell out that should have been warrantied. Ford prides itself on customer satisfaction, and I didn't experience that after what I went through. If and I say if I encounter another problem in the future, I am going right to Corporate to have my problem resolved. More
