Bought the car last week and it has been at the mechanic for the last 2 days getting $2k worth of mechanical work done. Worst Dealership Imaginable So i went to Tampa Auto Source to check out a honda civic si. When i get there everyone was inside the office so I went in and told one of the salesma So i went to Tampa Auto Source to check out a honda civic si. When i get there everyone was inside the office so I went in and told one of the salesman, Nat, that i wanted to check it out. The car looked nice but was making a moise he claimed he couldn't here. Then we went for a super short test drive on roads with only 35 mph speed limits and the check engine light cane on. When wet got back we went inside to talk numbers. the car was advertised for 10900 online. But since the car had issues I was thinking i would pay 11 out the door and that's it. He said the best he could do is 11600. And said he could most likely give me $2000 for my toyota camry. so I said i would come back with my car in the middle of the week and if the problems on the civic were fixed I'd do it. I came back with the car. Eddy Arias, the "manager" said they can give me 1500 for the car and that's it. I go into the office and talk to Nat and all of a sudden they can get me out the door for 12800 at best. I got it down to 12300. i was financing thru my bank and was $1200 short but i was approved for a bigger loan than i applied for so i told him i could go back the next day to get the difference. So he signed the papers over, i gave them $2000 cash down plus my car and Nat said to get them a check the next day. i said i would do my best. So I drove the car home and of course the check engine light that was supposedly fixed came back on. The next morning i went to the bank and got a new lien receipt with the correct amount. The lien reciept states that i am approved for that amount and that the check is ready to be sent by the bank as soon as the title is active. I had her call Tampa Auto Source and explain that to them. Eddy then called back and i could hear him yelling at the lady at the bank and then he asked to talk to me. He proceeded to yell at me and said it will take 10 days to clear the title and he's not waiting 10 days for his money. At this point they were just too shady for me. He said he'd still do the deal if i financed thru them and i said no I'll bring the car back. Then he was basically screeming at me to get him his car back so i brought it back and wen i got there Eddy was gone and Nat gave me the key to my camry back and a business check for $2000 instead of the cash i gave them the night before. When i went to the bank she said the funds weren't available to cash it. I was pissed and went back to the Tampa Auto to get my actual money and still Eddie wasn't there. i fought with them all day about getting my money and no one could tell me where Eddy was. Finally after about 4 hrs Eddy shows up with $1900 worth of brand new hundreds just like the ones i gave them. And 1 old 100 dollar bill. So basically he spent $100 of my money as soon as i gave it to him. Then he had to go find the money he had spent. Not to mention by this time I had missed an entire day of work dealing with their xx. The whole thing was very shady and i got the vibe Eddy was out doing some illegal dealing to get my money back. When he finally showed his face and gave me the money he told me the check i recieved was meant to be deposited only and not cashed. If I was really stupid I would believe this but I know for a fact any check that has the funds to back it can be cashed or deposited. Thats how all checks work. This place is a joke do not go to Tampa Auto Source they are a bunch of xxxx bags, especially Eddy. More

During test drive, there was a performance issue with the Sports mode which staff had mechanic resolve on the spot and ended up being a disconnected plug. Car had a few minor cosmetic concerns that I'll be able to take care of with the savings from the good deal provided by dealer. I also received a no nonsense price on my trade-in that made my purchase smoother. Definitely recommend. More

Fresh Start I recently filed bankruptcy and started taking the bus, thinking that no one would work with because of my bankruptcy. Tampa Auto Source got me financed and put me in luxury vehicle. I am a women of faith and I of course have the fear of buying a car in fear that I will taken advantage of, but that did not happen. I had to put down a small down payment and my car payments are low. It is a very humbling experience to be without a car after never being without car. I am very thankful to Tampa Auto Source and I would recommend any and everyone to them. Thank you Eddie and God Bless! More

Let me tell you a little story about this dealership. It is the MOST UNORGANIZED SHADY OPERATION i have ever seen. for 2 weeks i was talking to the salesman Mike. (over the phone). Seemings how it was almost a 4 hour drive for me to get to this dealership it was important that i got there and didn't waste Anytime. Well once i arrived he came out and greeted me. he left for another five minutes as i awaited a test drive another employee came out who i still to this day do not know his name. He said lets go for a drive. So i figured hey maybe he will be taking care of me today. During the test drive. The car didnt drive like it was supposed to and did not sound anything like it was supposed to. But i don't have many details on that because they only let me drive the car about 1.5 miles. and the speed limits were never over 40 mph. A little about me. I am a VW enthusiast so the car i was interested in was the Blue VW R32. Long story short about this car is it is pretty rare. They only imported 5000 of them in 2004 as well as 2008 which was the year i was looking at. So when i say its rare generally you want stock VW parts on it or Reputable performance parts. Well all the parts were from Ebay. It had a front lip that didnt even line up with the body lines of the car. It looked like it had front impact damage. It was missing Inner wheel wells in the front. Also the exhaust the told me was 1600 dollars is worth five. I wouldn't even put it on a Honda civic. It had 19 inch wheels with VW center caps. Well VW didn't make those rims in 19's not to mention anyone who is an R32 Enthusiast doesn't want 19's. This list goes on what was wrong with the car, all the way from the Halo's in the Paint to not having proper badging. After all of this i sat in the waiting room waiting for mike. he came in we did numbers quick and everything was looking good. I was willing to over look the problems of the car and pay the 23,500 we agreed on. Then the most ridiculous character i have ever met showed up. His name was Eddy (Eddie). This man, sorry boy tried to soak another grand out of me. I said ok ill pay 24,500. because at this point i already drove all the way there and wanted to get out of there because i had been there for 2 hours and got nothing accomplished. Then 10 minutes later he came and said he needed 500 more. I said no. He started critiquing my car. Which i am ok with. Its a car only a VW enthusiast will like due to the colors and the interior. However my car as all Genuine VW and APR parts. After i said no to the extra 500 he said let me call the owner then disappeared for another half an hour. So i decided at this point after waiting that it wasnt worth it and i was leaving. My Girlfriend and I got into my car and they came and stopped me and pulled me back in the office. I voiced my opinion and told them i will not be paying 25,000 for the car and the only way it will happen now is if i leave that lot paying 23,500. Eddy did not like that answer. I told him why (the R32 had Ebay Parts and was thrashed) and he did not like this. He continued telling me my car was junk and to go to carmax. Mind he he called my car junk because it had White wheels that he said were not OEM. Which my wheels were plastic dipped and i even went as far to start peeling it off in front of him. Also these wheels i have are very Expensive OEM VW wheels that any VW Enthusiast. will look at and know they are from a VW that was actually made in Germany. During this he got pretty upset and made the first mistake in being in a sales position and he lost his cool. In front of a parking lot full of customers he told me he was going to F*** me up and to get off his property. After talking to the right people i actually found out that is Harassment. The cool thing is almost always voice record everything. So if you were to ask me if i would ever send anyone i know here. NO NEVER in my life would i recommend this shady operation. More

When I called to inquire about the car my first contact was Peter Acevedo who was eager to describe it to me and answer all of my questions. Over the next several days I dealt with him as well as Peter Parker and both were polite, professional, helpful, and most of all more than willing to help me coordinate the long distance purchase (I'm from CT). After flying in, Peter A picked me up and brought me to the dealership where, thanks to both parties' planning, the transaction went smoothly after a pleasant test drive. Tampa Auto Source, particularly the Peters, made what could have been a nightmare into an enjoyable and stress free adventure. I financed my car externally but I can only imagine that the same level of service I experienced would be extended to anyone seeking financial services from them as well. More

I saw a car online (cars,com) and the price was 8,990 $ i went there and the sales man Peter parker did the math and gave me the price out the door ( after the test drive ) which was 10,229$ and i took a pri went there and the sales man Peter parker did the math and gave me the price out the door ( after the test drive ) which was 10,229$ and i took a print out of this paper, like two hours later i came back , the deal has chaged and he transferred me to the sales manager who told me that it was a mistake the price is 10,990 not 8.990 , i told him we had a deal and peter parker ( the sales man) told me it's gonan be 10,299 out the door so what's going on !! then he started to ask me about the interest rate i am getting, how much can you pay ,i can gave you a better interest rate and save you 1000 $ in financing , i refused and after he figured out that is not working his tune changed, he started to be rude, and he told me it's gonna be 12,000$ out the door ,i told him what about the price that peter parker gave me, he said why didn't you take it why you left !! i said that was 2 hours ago !! he had nothing to say, so they are doing false advertising ,there is no any kind of communication between the sales men and the sales manager who was so rude , i do not reccommend Tampa Auto Source to any one for real , i am so disappointed. After having a list of 98 cars that met my initial criteria, I was able to finally get the list down to my top three. The first dealership of the three was Tampa Auto Source at 7610 North Florida Avenue in Tampa. I had emailed and spoken to Peter Acevedo no less than six times to get information on the cars in his inventory. As soon as I arrived I was pleasantly greeted by Mr Peter Parker and later Peter Acevedo (who was finalizing the sale of another amazing vehicle for a happy couple). I liked the car but had to see the other two vehicles. After seeing the other cars it was a tie between an Audi and the BMW. As much as I liked the Audi, the service, courtesy friendliness and professionalism of the team at Tampa Auto Source made all the difference. A week later I am still overjoyed with the decision I made and the quality of the car. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Tampa Auto Source and would enthusiasticly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality car presented by outstandidg profesionals -especially those serving in the United States Armed Forces or First Responders.
